    Good Morning Nannylala

So far Poppy not heard any fireworks the few we have had I have managed to drown out with tv :T

Dreading the coming weekend when they will be going off all around don't think I can drown them out then :( I have got the Adaptil plug ins in here , kitchen and bedroom but cant see them working . My plug sockets are in daft places lol .

If you need them in different places could you not use extension leads?

That seems rather strange, cant you contact them and ask why? I can think of no reason for that unless they are concerned with it being knocked.

I thought it was strange but if Poppy gets really stressed the one in here will be going in an extension lead so its nearer to her . Its near front window at moment behind chair . Extension lead next to tv infront of her bed so in better place. I am dreading my girl getting like she did last year . :o I was crying :o because I wanted to help her and nothing seemed to work its awful for pets and people who are frightened and stressed out.

    Good morning everyone.

I've been quite amazed and delighted by how many people were able to use the Zeek code I posted (on the correct board!). So glad for once to be able to contribute rather than just benefit.

When I had a dog that was terrified at firework time I used to sit with her and put a set of ear muffs on her so the sound was very much reduced. I know it sounds a daft idea but it worked.

She initially wanted to try and get them off but eventually with my close presence and the noise much reduced we had more peaceful and less stressful evenings and she accepted the headgear without question. :)

I believe you can even get them specifically for dogs these days so there must be some credence in it.

You have probably tried it already though as I know you've tried lots of things in the past.

Just occurred to me, a lot of things that are not supposed to be on extension leads are not supposed to be turned off, could be the case with this? Simply a precaution against being accidentally turned off?
