Good morning all! And so begins my first full day of official unemployment! Got to make a start on my CV today, just not sure what to do about putting a 3 month long job on it. Hopefully it won't matter, but we'll see. I think DH is expecting me to work miracles around the house in the meantime! I'd better be careful though or he'll get used to having his tea ready on the table when he gets home, his laundry all washed, ironed and put away, and freshly baked cakes on a regular basis :rotfl:0

Has anyone signed up to HSBC and had the application go through online straight away? Their application system suggests some do as has two stages after the one I was kicked off the system.
I applied last year, it was referred and I gave up (they gave me the cashback due to a complaint). I applied today, it has again been referred . You can bet this will now involve having to go into branch, which is at least a two hour round trip.
It should be worth the effort with £200 for applying (ends today by midnght) but it really annoys me - they also ask the most intrusive questions of any application process.
No issues applying anywhere else.

We had to go into branch to finalise the opening of the accounts, but whilst there, they issued us with the key cards you need each time you log into your account, and also set up the passwords etc whilst there....so was worthwhile in that we were all set up and ready to go once we left branch.Keep Moving 2018 challenge.
