These have disappeared for me instore a few weeks ago and I haven't seen them since. I also haven't found them in any of the three stores I was in earlier today. However, I think they will be in some M at £2 today, as that is what the hotukdeals poster has suggested. I think they may be marked as "Expired" because people see "Unavailable" or "Out of Stock" online, or can't find them there, and can't find them in their M either, so they make the incorrect assumption that they are not available in any M at all.

I will add them to the list - even though I haven't seen them today myself. I have no evidence to show that they are totally unavailable in M. I am myself unable to visit over 500 stores in a single day:rotfl: , or ever, so I would never be able to find that they were completely unavailable. I will therefore accept the "evidence" of the hotdeals poster, even though I have not seen the potatoes physically with my own eyes. I am hoping they might appear in one of my stores in the next few days...

(That said, I was hoping the £5/Kg stock of Wyke Mature Cheddar might appear in additional Ms - but, in some, it seems to be continuing at £9.18/Kg:(. The Krave On the Go pot has moved around for me now though:rotfl:. The trick is to find it when it is not in a TBG store and thus give yourself a complaint for paying more. I think what happens is it gets marked down to 40p in some stores - not all of them as some do not get around to changing their SEL or stock arrives at them later on - it then sells out of those stores due to the price showing cheaper than other items on the shelf around it, the SEL gets removed leaving no trace in those stores. By this time, some of the other stores, that hadn't changed their SELs from the higher price now do so, and the product is then there. It's moved around - a few weeks ago I had it in one, then both, of my main stores - then I found it elsewhere (but with unchanged SEL at that time - would be nice if TBG compared against higher 96p and saw you paying them too much:rotfl:) - now, it's gone from my stores where it was before and now in my third main store instead (where it wasn't before):rotfl:.)

EDIT: It looks like the Potatoes on hotukdeals have now been resurrected. No longer showing "Expired". One person, at least, relying on "Out of stock. This product is not available". However, that is just online and may reflect what's not in Leamington Spa Morrisons. "We are currently sourcing detailed information about this product". - heard that somewhere before: last time on the V-Kat Schnapps that I could never find again.

"Store staff had told me they couldn't see it re-occurring." However, that's just what store staff, you tell me, had told you - just because they "couldn't see" something does not mean it couldn't happen. It may seem to me that some of the staff of one of my stores "couldn't see" that they have no SEL for the Quorn Plain Chicken Fillets:rotfl:. Or maybe, in another store, they "can't see" that they have failed to change the SEL for one variety of a product to offer price whilst changing all the other versions. All of them, of course, are on offer. Some people don't seem to see much at all that is before their eyes and obvious and immediate stand-out plain to see to me:rotfl::rotfl:.

As for me, I don't know whether I couldn't see that it could go back to £2. It had risen quite a lot beyond £4 before. However, I don't think I ever ruled out completely that it could not go back to £2. It's certainly a possibility and, it seems by the hotdeals thread, it has done so as why would they be posting "Works out only 0.16p p/kg according to the label" yesterday if they hadn't seen that either yesterday or very soon before?
