Can I ask about cruise/holiday advice please?

Talking to someone today who missed their flight from Manchester to Palma thinking that their flight was 5pm not 5am.

Aaww really sorry to hear your friend lost his holiday and money.
Reminds me of when this happened to my mum and sister. They were on holiday in Australia and thought their flight was at midnight. So they packed everything and went to spend the afternoon sunbathing. About 5pm one of the staff came running out to them and said no your flight was at 12 midday. They phoned the airport immediately and luckily their flight had been delayed. Transport was arranged and they got to the airport in time to get the flight. They saw other people there that had been in the same hotel/group as them and were envious of my mum and sister, as these other people had spent the day at the airport whilst mum and sister were sunbathing :rotfl:
Sorry, doesn't help your friend, but at least he is not the only one that's misread the time of takeoff. :o

Perhaps someone who posts on here a lot could put something like "leave the mushrooms alone, there not good for your APG" or something like that in their signature :rotfl:

This would normally be a good deal 3 x 888ml Ariel on PYO for £7. But guess most of us have stocked up with either As RTC or Ts 25% promotion.

Should be set out in his contract when he will be paid, broadly it should be the same as everyone else but subject to a cut off date to allow processing of time sheets. So it may be that all work up to the 20th of each month is paid at the end of the month.

The only difference between a zero hours contract and any other is that there is no guarantee of any work.
Thanks there was nothing about when they get paid in his contract but someone said at the end of the month you get paid . no one told him he had to wait 2 months so he worked a lot as needed to pay his insurance . si was understandable upset. I thought zero hours you got paid as and when you worked.
We did get a medal at the Euros :)

    Cadburys chocolate fingers 114g 39p or 3 for £1.00 @ Heron Foods
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/cadburys-chocolate-fingers-114g-39p-3-for-1-heron-foods-2472290

I think Cadbury's Chocolate Fingers 114g (not the expensive offer price 138g "more to share":( packs) are still available from M at 25p. I can see why many people may not have them in their M at this stage however. I saw the White Chocolate version in one M only the other week, so I think the Milk Chocolate version are also going to be around somewhere - most probably in a minority of Ms. So, don't go to M expecting to find them - I think they will have gone from most stores by now - however you might have luck you don't know. HTH.

Hi Savvy and everyone else. Anyone know if the quorn on the AvsM list would compare on a c&c. tia

    Quorn Meat Free Burgers (6 per pack - 300g)£1.90/Any 4 for £6.00 £1.00
    Quorn Meat Free Sausages (8 per pack - 336g)£1.90/Any 4 for £6.00 £1.00
    Quorn Meat Free Chicken Fillets (6 per pack - 312g)£1.90/Any 4 for £6.00 £1.00
Quorn Meat Free Chicken Nuggets (300g)£1.90/Any 4 for £6.00 £1.00
Quorn Meat Free Chicken Style Pieces (300g)£1.90/Any 4 for £6.00 £1.00
Quorn Meat Free Southern Fried Chicken Style Burgers (4 per pack - 252g)£1.90/Any 4 for £6.00 £1.00

They should do - but be aware that the Chicken Style Pieces and the Southern Fried Burgers only went onto £1 offer on Monday - they ought to work however is it is now two days later. Bear in mind that the Quorns occasionally, at least in the past, could be limited stock in some Ms but they do seem to me to be wider range now (and should get them from six stores). That said, my main store still has no SEL for the Chicken Fillets:rotfl:. At least one of the Quorn products has had what seemed to be to have been an incorrect price on the APG in the past, although most recently they have been working. I have an incorrect price of £1.63 on the Chicken Pieces from one store today but that's just one store for me and it ought to work, but I suppose, as it's a guarantee, there is no guarantee:rotfl:.
