I don't know why I'm accepting people's "evidence":rotfl:. It's hardly as if I am a judge or something like that. However, I guess - whether rightly or wrongly - I work in a similar way when making decisions. Sometimes people say that I lack plain common sense. However, "common sense" is not always what it seems - or sometimes it does not turn out to be "common" at all:rotfl:. Clearly, sometimes people in RL do what I think to be daft things when I would have thought doing the opposite might actually be "common sense".
Sometimes, I guess it may seem from the outside that I have no truck with common sense. However, my problem is always that judge that sent out, decades ago probably now, a jury on a murder charge asking them to use their "common sense" in deciding whether the defendant was guilty or not. Jury foreman returned later and asked the judge to define what they meant by "common sense":rotfl:. Clearly, the jury must have been unable to agree on a verdict and, therefore, it was not "common sense" at all.0 -
Savvy, i asked instore today and they said dont sell them "here" anymore, implying they were still sold in other stores
Hmm. Yes, I agree - however I also wouldn't place too much on their use of the word "here". Normal people, in off-the-cuff spoken replies aren't as careful over them as that. You're becoming too much like me:eek::rotfl::rotfl::T.
Yes, it does imply exactly that. But they might not have meant to imply that at all. They may - literally now(:D) - just have meant they haven't had them in their store for a while - or not seen them there. I think I've probably had SAs tell me their store doesn't stock something only, a few moments later, to find it in plain evidence somewhere in the store:rotfl:. They don't always know every one of the thousands of items that they sell. I don't even know whether staff would always be aware of products if a delivery of them might suddenly, maybe unexpected to them, arrive at their store's warehouse. I don't know who at stores deals with that, whether they order stuff or whether HQ just delivers it and whether or not staff would always know what their store might receive - even if it hasn't done so for some time. I doubt they would even know about what was happening at stores other than their own, unless they were regularly transferred between different stores.
People, when they are not at work, tend to avoid things that relate to their work do they not? So, would staff working at M be really interested in what was stocked by M if they happened to shop at another M store in their leisure time? Or maybe too close to home (I mean in the sense of "too close to what they do", in other words too close to their workplace job) that they would be inclined to want to leave the store, having done their shopping, as soon as possible.0 -

M and M's Peanut 1Kg BAg now £2.50 Tescos instore
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/m-m-s-peanut-1kg-bag-now-2-50-tescos-instore-2471812
Yes, £3 RTC in M now (obviously no good:rotfl:) after me ignoring last week's £4 RTC. I have no idea why the RTC labels have a crossed out £5 when, as far as I recall, they were showing £4 last week. Anyway, clearly they still have some way to fall before I take any notice of them:rotfl:.
It was £1 for 300g after Hallowe'en I now seem to recall (maybe not correctly - but, it probably is!) - so £3 is quite good on that basis - but still too dear (now that T is lower) and quite a lot of M&Ms:eek: - so paying quite a bit in total - would have preferred a third-size bags but for £1 price - but obviously off to T for them...
I'm hoping if everyone all holds on, and refuses to buy them at £3 from M, then they might come down even more there.0
