Is there any way you can up the number of avios points you have? Have a look at the Head for Points websites for ideas. We collect most of ours by using Amex for as much as we possibly can. We also churn cards - I have one, refer DH for one, cancel mine. Six months later he refers me for one, cancels his and so on. That way you keep getting sign up bonuses.
Thanks, this helps explain. My points are from Amex (Diamond) although I am in the process of figuring out how many there are... and trying to transfer to the BAE. ON HFP there is a few good ways of getting more points, my main thoughts were do I get another points card or cash back. I think I will get the points...and hopefully one day have a nice trip xdaniel_portage wrote: »no one voluntarily goes to leeds!
Lots of people. It has some rather nice features, but I just hate shopping there it is so bity.Serendipitious wrote: »The bags are designed to mask the contents, but they do contain a small branded toy.
So for example, Shopkins bags will contain a Shopkins item, but you cannot see specifically which one.
I googled... and now understand... I really thought it was a gimmick of an invisible toy! lol100 -

It's like going to somewhere like Wigan I suppose (with no disrespect to people in Wigan). Or somewhere else that is deep in the country, that I can't think of at the moment, and nowhere near the seaside. Or the seaside beach at winter time (brrrr....) - why would you?!? Rhyl in January:eek:.
Or Chesterfield. That was the worst place I went to - there's a crooked spire or something but, you've seen that from the ring road:eek: and it's nothing - the rest was just urban shopping and the bus station, that I could have done at home or found at home. Believe me, the bus station was not interesting, especially not with buses pumping out smelly diesel. There was nothing there - I could have just gone into my own city centre if I wanted the shops. It was different though, when I went to M for that purpose rather than going there, a number of years ago, for leisure/sightseeing purposes (of which they was almost none) - sorry Chesterfield!
I often drive through Chesterfield, and love seeing the spire!.
You cannot please all the people all the time!Glad I am not alone. That's two I have failed. One because I can't count and one I have no idea. Can't post from iPad.
I will try again but with a list from other posters
Well our dinner party numbers dropped again but it ended up ideal. Everyone sat round the table till after midnight. Not too bad as a lot of them are normally in bed for nine.
I have enough leftover food to tide us over for a while just not what want so will share with the old folks next door The cake from my sticky toffee dessert was FAB
Really strange we used very little spirits but lots of wine. Some from the sainbury's offer last week. I was well pleased
