Fingers crossed; it sounds like she has got some efficient people on her side at last xx
Thanks buyitall, she had to tell them months ago when she needed her results by to be given an earlier hand in date for the dissertation. She then emailed few weeks ago with the details I posted above but doesn't look like they took it on board properly as all she got when applications opened Monday which was date she said she needed it all by was in all essence an unofficial email.
And it's taken all week to get this far, she knew something wasn't right yesterday when she got an email with this December senate date on.
I know it won't take the degree away from her but for it not to be included for the most important application of her life will be devastating....
I have no idea how this whole degree business works having never graduated. Not even got an A level to my name.0 -

DS1 is a medic, he's only in his second year so I don't know a great deal about it, but I do know that her points from the MSc will be a really important part of her application. I really hope it works out xxx0 -
I am back - with 6lb 14oz of chestnuts, a little more than 3kg that would cost £21 in Tesco :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Thank you, little bit positive now she has had email to say her senate date has been brought forward, still no clue what that actually means, I guess it's the bit about it being ratified which we thought had finally happened Monday.
Hopefully my ranting might help your DS if ever he decides to intercalate, although each uni is different when it allows you. At DDs it's either end of year 2 or 4. I know where a friends' DS is they only get chance end of year 3. Although if you do it earlier than end of year 3 I don't think you can choose to do a Masters.
Congratulations to your DS getting through to second year and good luck to him for his future. I am in awe of how much hard work medics put in. I'm sorry but it made DD1's degree seem almost part time compared. Not taking anything away from her she worked hard too but the hours DD is putting in at the moment on GP placement. :eek:0 -
