DD2 got letter today wrong format and rather more imortantly wrong date.
It's not been put in for senate what ever that means so says date of award will be sometime in December. They knew all this or at least someone did that it needed to be finalised for her application. Have everything hanging on someone at the records office who said that luckily there is senate next week so he has put it forward for then, but it's too close to call whether it is going to be finalised in time.
So angry as she handed her dissertation in on aug 15th, he reckons it has been sitting on someones desk, an expensive year for nothing if she does not get the right paperwork in time.
The application that will decide the rest of her life....
Got everything crossed here for a speedy resolution, TS.
What if she were to send what she's got in with the application, would they disallow the application or merely ask for the correct paperwork to be sent asap? Can the applications dept help in any way?“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

The benefits of a card, for one. I never took that much notice of the store before, but you seem to do so well there.
Found a really handy one, in the same zone as that MnS food hall which does CnC, on a route I do regularly. World's my oyster now... :rotfl:
I find it takes ages to build up points on a SD card as I always find the bargains and pay next to nothing for them.
I do always buy their own 9 pack of toilet rolls for £2. They are pretty decent. 0 -

It's really strict I'm afraid Seren it is really clear that it is your responsibility to have the correct paperwork, there is a standard letter if you do not have the final paperwork which DD has over the past week emailed to several people.
If the correct paperwork isn't uploaded then the qualification doesn't count no second chances, even down to if it isn't signed by the right person.0 -

Thanks Sarah, think she is the only one of her friends in this position the others sandwiched in a BSc degrees in their intercalating year so was all finished. And they graduated in the summer so already have their certificates. She was still working on her dissertation then.
Stems from her always wanting to be the best and deciding to do a Masters. Which cost her more too...
Don't think I have ever been so worried for her in my whole life.
The guy she spoke to seems really helpful and has offered as soon as letter is available so she doesn't have to collect it straight away will scan it in himself so that she can upload it. But it is cutting it so fine, deadline is next Friday at 12pm.0 -

Fingers crossed; it sounds like she has got some efficient people on her side at last xx0 -
is this the wave break chardonnay which was 2 for £12 as previously?
and then some of us also have 20% off on our sparks cards for gastropub as well - 2 versions are in the meal deal
i had a look today at the choice. The potato wedges are seeded - looks enough to feed 4 (or 2 meals for 2)
also a full size apple pie which again will feed 4
so if you buy 2 meal deals you can get more than 2 meals
It says on the Sparks site that the gastro offer does not include mealdeal items, don't know if it has been tested though. The wine is the frizzante, not the wave break this time (which is a good thing, as the wave break was disgusting unless totally freezing cold and even then was barely consumable - I did force down two bottles though

Am not sure what the wine was I just brought the deal over from 10 ways0 -
I am trying to steer clear of the meal deal, as I am doing WW for a month, and also doing my own dumbed-down version of sober October, which is not drinking wine unless in a social situation :rotfl::rotfl:
Gordon's slimline G&T cans are only 2 WW points :beer:
Have also been doing the Ron Hill #RunEveryDay challenge. Ticked off the first week today :T:T0
