  • Good morning from the beautiful island of Antigua.
Have had trouble with Internet but all fixed now.

Saturday was a quiet day with an afternoon drive down FigTree drive. Saw some beautiful beaches and a large Cattle Egrit right by the car.

Sunday we went to The beach at Half Moon bay with Ns friends. A perfect beach protected by a reef and edged with trees which provided well needed shade. Antiguans seem to like to Bob around in the water chatting. We were joined there by one of Ns old school friends. Then back to our hosts house to enjoy the view and have dinner. Jerk chicken and salad followed by coconut cake. A very moist cake which I hope to obtain the receipe for. True Antiguan hospitality.

Yesterday we got a call. Sunday I had admired an art print in our hosts home. Yesterday he arranged for us to visit the artists home gallery. For LEJCs benefit the artist was Jilly Gobinet. Of course I bought an original watercolour for my new bedroom.

Lazy morning planned then today then town planned mid afternoon:)

I hope you are all well and the glitching is good. No time to read back.

Josie Ann this will make you laugh, even though we are AI N can't resist the odd bargain multi buy in the supermarket so we have plenty of OJ for our room.

Although you are a woman after my own heart purchasing the original....
did I ever tell the story of an american named George Foreman beating me to an original I was after in Saint Lucia....couldn't argue with him really when I realised that in a previous life he was the boxer!!!
...and I do know half moon bay quite well too...I've had some lovely swims there.

Literally clicked on it within seconds of getting mine 14.51 and nothing available no matter where I try not that I would travel further than Ston in all honesty.

I had even tried last weeks link a minute before email cane through which was showing 26th still yesterday but just brought up an error so thought it might be imminent. Went back to emails and it had just come through a lot earlier than last week too.
