Morning all late start this morning - can see blue sky but no sun
No hot water - flashing light on boiler  Think it's giving me a gentle nudge to arrange its annual service :rotfl: Thankfully we have an electric shower so not a major impact.
Your pics made me smile Snap
Di - clock flashing on my Double oven usually means we have had a power cut. Only effects main oven so read/Google instructions and reset.
Have a good one x0 -
Just testing my tablet still works. Charged up and ready to be packed

Afternoon all
Day of rest for me
Our gas oven keeps working intermittently via the cooker ignition button on the cooker. Have replaced batteries to see if that was the problem. Other than that we have been able to light it with a match or lighter. Other day it wouldn't work at all, via ignition button or lighter. So contacted a gas safe person to come and have a look and he's coming this evening. Problem is, it is working again now via the cooker ignition button. Hob is the same but can always light it with a match/lighter. Cooker is about 10 years old I think. Hope gas safe person can repair it and its not new cooker time
IF does need replacing, thinking of getting electric oven with gas hob. Anyone got one of those. Any problems. Ideally I would like a 600mm oven, and there is space for 500mm hob between the work tops. At the moment we have a 500mm cooker so there is a small gap either side of cooker from cabinets which is unsightly and a dirt trap
thanks in advance for any advise0 -
Our Travelodge is near Manchester
Ours is the Gatwick one. Quite handy because they run a bus to/from Gatwick, and our train gets in at Gatwick to we shall just grab their bus.Afternoon all

We have a built in Neff electric fan oven and a gas hob (hob bought when focus closed down). The last Neff oven we had lasted 21 years with just a replaced seal, this one is now 10 years old or so and we have replaced the fan element (easy to do with part off Amazon for less than £10).
I like the electric oven as have never liked leaving a gas oven on timer. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
