one odd thing today, or at least I didn't realise until this morning as I didn't go up to the bedroom until very late last night -

firstly I noticed in the shower this morning 3 dead flies :eek:no idea why they all decided to go to the shower to die - we were only away 3 days and no flies in the house when we left or anything else flying for that matter. The bedroom windows were open but just a crack for ventilation

OH removed the dead bodies - there was also one in the loo.

Then we noticed the bedroom floor was littered with dead wasps  in all OH found about 15 of them - not on the window ledge but scattered about on the floor as if they had just flown in and then dropped out of the air. We have wasps in the garden but low level, rarely come in via the windows and nearly always work their way out, never find any in the bedroom.
odd dead ones later found on the living room and kitchen floor, as you might expect but the bedroom carnage is a mystery :rotfl:

    Poor little mites.

We once lived in a spooky house (but warmly spooky) one day I arrived home to find that in three rooms there was a bird. With the exception of one fireplace in one room, all the rooms were sealed (including internal doors)....:eek::eek:

Can I ask the Elite what the current protocol is when your children marry......who pays for what these days?

I promise this is not for me....I think my two are years away from that but a friend has asked me and I haven't got a clue.

If you have a son, should you offer to contribute to the wedding?

Any advice will be passed on:)

    Off for a catch up

Mhoc.....lovely to hear that you've been having lots of family time together:A

I don't know if you can remember me mentioning last year that we had flies in our shower. It was CoT who mentioned Drain Flies and sure enough it was.......we had lots though so yours might be something else....easily got rid of with boiling water and sink cleaner:)

We once came back from a fortnights holiday to find a little puddle of water on the kitchen floor. There were no water pipes above or below. We never ever got to the bottom of it but talked about it for ages afterwards trying to figure it out.:rotfl:
