Just while I'm thinking......
I had a soup accident last week at workI was carrying in some homemade soup in a Tupperware container which was resting in the bottom of a hessian bag. It must have come loose in the car and as I walked into work, it started dripping down my trousers and sandals:o
Not a good look:o
So I treated myself yesterday to one of the Sistema soup containers.....RTC in A for £3. I've just been looking at it and filled it with water and it leaks:o
Maybe I mistakenly thought it would be leakproof....I thought that was the main reason people bought them:think::think:To do is to be. Rousseau

Think you should go round to TS and give her some tips on how its done :rotfl::rotfl: Just a guiding hand to help divert from the keep pile to the get ridSerendipitious wrote: »I find some people are very slow with feedback, up to 3 weeks in one case, which was peculiar as he collected the item, told me he was very happy and, looking over his shoulder as he left, he told me to leave feedback. One person years ago came for a chest of drawers, inspected it and told me they loved it, they stayed ages chatting, took it away, then left neutral feedback saying it wasn't as good as they thought it would be.
So if it's me selling, I will wait till I have feedback from them before giving them any feedback, that way I know the item has arrived and they are happy with it. And if I buy, I am prompt with feedback.
I keep an eye on bidders' feedback to see what other buyers and sellers say about them. Saw a funny one once. Their buyer grumbled the item did not fit. The seller replied they had actually sold them perfume. :rotfl:
I would ask your buyer to send a photo of the damage to speed things up, so you can see what they are on about.
Was it in a sealed bag? If so perhaps you could take it up with the manufacturer or supplier, as depending on value it might be worth having the item back to claim against the supplier.
That's exactly the way I operateAs soon as an item arrives and i'm happy I leave feedback. Good job I sent the stuff signed for  so they can't come back with it didn't arrive. As for the item, will have to see what condition it arrives back in and see if the zip is broken. Purchased years and years ago
so not sure where I would stand with the manufacturer. Buyer has 96% feedback not the best but not the worst. Part of me thinks they might be trying to pull a fast one and hoped I had gone for the refund and keep the item option
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

afternoon all - we are back from our trip up to York
the house is still standing, we have electric and no drips from the roof
we should be out in the garden but some clown is shooting some wildlife or something else in the field so I might as well go and delete spam emails
a very bitter sweet week on the elite, hugs to everyone suffering ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
My worst buy (and to be fair it's the only bad one since 2002) was a dress for DGD listed as new without tags.
I got it for 99p + pp, but when I looked at it someone had opened the side seam, inserted a non-matching adult-sized zip, hand sewn in and not machined, and even the tacking stitches were left in! Seller swore blind it was new and unworn, even when challenged, but refunded the money. I put it into the c/shop ragbag.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0
