Morning boys and girls.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Morning all - what a contrast weather wise.
Just back from Ts as ran out of printer paper. Picked up some more Hipps which nearly covered the cost :T
Must admit have been shoving the fruit Hipps in the freezer, then take them with us when we go out. Semi melted they are lush and so refreshing - not that we will need to cool down now with the weather change. So picked up some NCG soup to go with the homemade Chicken Pie I will be making later - definitely comfort food weather where we are:)
Have a good one x0 -

Very good price for 1kg. Stocked up with 2kg bags as we are making some wine (kits not fruit) ready or Xmas. Worked out 40p kg v M.0 -
Good Morning.
Breezy day here.I'm hoping for some wombles today. It's been either too hot or too wet yesterday. Not so easy now because all the bushes have been blocked off.More to stop the rats than womblers.Rat traps spaced every so often.
Love a good bonfire TM.
Well there's a morning disappeared into the ether:o
Thinking ahead for the bonfire, I remembered we had some empty cardboard boxes in the loft. Once I started looking I couldn't stop throwing stuff out. I've been ruthless. Old cushions, duvets, suitcases.......oh my goodness .....I feel cleansed:rotfl:
Of course this means another trip to the tip and it's so gorgeous outside....I need to get my gardening head on.
Thanks for the heads up on the Boots glitch fernie.....missed it unfortunately:o....but thanks TS......I managed a Rimmel sample.:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

I will tell you exactly why this is happening. I have bought a couple of items off Ebay lately and a day or two after I have received an email saying hope you like our product etc, this is part of the body of the last email I received
" When rating sellers on postage time, RATE THE SELLER ON THE TIME IT TOOK THEM TO MAIL THE ITEM, NOT THE TIME IT TOOK YOU TO RECEIVE THE ITEM. You should not hold sellers responsible for delays in mail services, international custom delays or for the time it took for your payment to clear.
2. If you want to know any detail of your parcel, welcome to contact us via ebay message, we will check it for you.
3.Therefore, please DON’T leave us 1, 2, 3 or 4-Detailed Seller Ratings on Shipping Time and Shipping Charge which equaling to negative feedback. We welcome your positive 5-Detailed Seller Ratings for us."
I do not react well to that and therefore do not leave feedback. It is easy to therefore forget to leave feedback for anyone.
:eek::eek:
People do that
Think i'll just stick to buying, doesn't cost me anything to drop it off at a charity shop.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Bit 'breezy' here.
Do people not tend to leave feedback on eBay anymore?
7 sales, 1 feedback.
1 request to return an item, which I accepted and paid for return postage through eBay on Mon morning. Not yet marked as dispatched but have to wait till the 30th, so plenty of time....( If I asked to return an item, I'd post ASAP) The item in question was BNWT still in the clear plastic bag. Buyer claiming the zip is broken, well I can't be 100% sure as I never checked, my fault, I made assumptions with it being new
I find some people are very slow with feedback, up to 3 weeks in one case, which was peculiar as he collected the item, told me he was very happy and, looking over his shoulder as he left, he told me to leave feedback. I still waited for his first, though, you can never be sure...
One person years ago came for a chest of drawers, inspected it and told me they loved it, they stayed ages chatting, took it away, then left neutral feedback saying it wasn't as good as they thought it would be.
So if it's me selling, I will wait till I have feedback from them before giving them any feedback, that way I know the item has arrived and they are happy with it. And if I buy, I am prompt with feedback.
I keep an eye on bidders' feedback to see what other buyers and sellers say about them. Saw a funny one once. Their buyer grumbled the item did not fit. The seller replied they had actually sold them perfume. :rotfl:
I would ask your buyer to send a photo of the damage to speed things up, so you can see what they are on about.
Was it in a sealed bag? If so perhaps you could take it up with the manufacturer or supplier, as depending on value it might be worth having the item back to claim against the supplier.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0
