It's been a looooong time since I had had a chance to keep up with an Elite thread, let alone post on one; at least a couple of years. Hopefully that will change in the not too distant. Off to lurk, skip and generally catch up with the new extra long megathread.

Don't leave it as long next time :D

    Morning paw sniffers:)

Saw these cheap pillows on HUKD, £4 pair

Also found the matching double duvet for £8.50 doesn't show as a reduced price but is over £13 on Argos and that's their reduced price.

    It's a shame C&C adds £2...

Funnily enough.....I might be going pillow shopping later but I need to feel before I buy....sure you understand:o.

Good morning everyone. Just realized only 98 days until Xmas. Need to get organized so just steeped my fruit in loads brandy and port and sherry ready to make my cake next weekend. Smells yummy. May make my pudding this year as did not manage to get one in Jan sales - would appreciate a tested recipe if anyone has one, especially if can be cooked in pressure cooker.

Sorry to hear about Millie 3Dogs.

A few good comparisons below for the bakers, especially the icing sugar as these are the big boxes - against M

    4x Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar (2KG) £4.32 £3.52
    1x Black Treacle (454G) £1.15 £1.15
    1x Silver Spoon Icing Sugar (1KG) £1.00 £1.00

Hope you all have a good Saturday :)

Hello Elaine........I spotted the 1kg packs of granulated sugar in B&M yesterday for 45p:).......good price for the odd bag

    Morning folks! :)

    Bit 'breezy' here.

Do people not tend to leave feedback on eBay anymore? :o

    7 sales, 1 feedback.

1 request to return an item, which I accepted and paid for return postage through eBay on Mon morning. Not yet marked as dispatched but have to wait till the 30th, so plenty of time....( If I asked to return an item, I'd post ASAP) The item in question was BNWT still in the clear plastic bag. Buyer claiming the zip is broken, well I can't be 100% sure as I never checked, my fault, I made assumptions with it being new :(

I'm not getting any feedback either Westie ........I'm starting to struggle now for my "selling one item a day on eBay September challenge":rotfl: I'm running out of items.
But at least I'm starting to get a feel for what sells and what doesn't. Wish I had a big box of old Gameboys:rotfl:

Mine says the same, although it has read less on the odd occasion in the last few weeks

    Morning all :D

I'm starting my tidy up down the field today. I have raised beds need clearing and beds of leeks that need weeding. I might be apple picking too:)

The paths are also looking a little messy.Think a couple of hours should do it......and it's a perfect day weather wise. We might round off the day with a bonfire:T

I am a buyer, do not trust Ebay for selling.

I will tell you exactly why this is happening. I have bought a couple of items off Ebay lately and a day or two after I have received an email saying hope you like our product etc, this is part of the body of the last email I received

" When rating sellers on postage time, RATE THE SELLER ON THE TIME IT TOOK THEM TO MAIL THE ITEM, NOT THE TIME IT TOOK YOU TO RECEIVE THE ITEM. You should not hold sellers responsible for delays in mail services, international custom delays or for the time it took for your payment to clear.

    2. If you want to know any detail of your parcel, welcome to contact us via ebay message, we will check it for you.

3.Therefore, please DON’T leave us 1, 2, 3 or 4-Detailed Seller Ratings on Shipping Time and Shipping Charge which equaling to negative feedback. We welcome your positive 5-Detailed Seller Ratings for us."

I do not react well to that and therefore do not leave feedback. It is easy to therefore forget to leave feedback for anyone.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
