  • Good morning all, cloudy out there but just shoved two loads of washing out on the line so we shall see.

Sorry about Florida, we thought about going there on holiday this year

Tell you what though, if Trump gets in we are not going near the US until someone with half a brain replaces him.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

£34, I got my paint (2tubs) from B&M room size approx. 4 x 4 - have nearly a full tin left I got the 'once' range. Its good paint tbh I would use it again

Mhoc, DD does similar with me, phones me for a great long chat while she's driving to or from work (her commute is 45 mins in the car each way) Sometimes I feel like I am the in-car entertainment system. It's a good opportunity for a catch-up but there are at least two areas en route prone to mobile static, so that gets frustrating and I've learned just to hang up fast when it goes crackly - less wear and tear on the nerves!

And of course, I have to be prepared for sudden cut-offs when a more important incoming call appears - Gotta go, Mum, it's work, call you in a bit (and she never does, as presumably she's got home by the end of that.)

I get quite bemused as when we are actually in the same room and could have a good chat with no interruptions, she's usually on her phone to somebody else...

Yes that's exactly it. But we just have to grit our teeth and be very glad they do keep in touch
and at least disjointed conversations are better than 2 word messages or being awol for weeks at a time ...

The worst of it is not being able to just ring them for a nice chat because they are always at work, en route or back from work, getting ready for work or recovering from work etc :D

this is very useful to know - I'd not thought of B & M for paint. I've now come to the conclusion that our chances of trapping our tame builder are minimal and if and when he does come he will have to tackle the outside bits first.
So to stop it looking any more dejected and neglected I've got bathroom and kitchen painting to do so I've got to think about paint today

Good morning folks ...I too took the Dulux challenge and was paid straight away ...I used the endurance and the once ....didn't like the endurance paint but the once is great I have used it before ...I have 2 half tins left ....very miserly ...I don't like the colour I put on ...it was an experiment as it was free ...will get a dirtying out of it then change at a later date

Know this is expired but this happened before and I'm sure it worked in store too. Someone might remember? :)

Still it's worth checking to see if it comes back in stock online.

I have a vague recollection of looking for it instore in Liverpool but it only had 2 packs - this was quite a long time ago about the time we were getting free cake and coffee from JL

We are near a small Superdrug later today so I am going to have a look to see if it works in store, that is if I can find 3 of them. Previously I've found the Olay Total effects pore minimizer cc cream on the shelf but without the RTC price until I took it to the till so I don't think they keep on top of all of the offers.

I've got the superdrug page up (via topcashback) in readiness incase it comes back into stock - I really like their free delivery service.
Last time my delivery came with 2 free david beckham perfume samples for OH which he was impressed with :D

Thank you Seren but I think all my pain now is from the rough handling for an hour, digging down etc. It's bound to be sore after that isn t it ? Still on the strong painkillers but with no food was heaving this morning. Managed a drink through a straw now for some food.

    Good Morning all :)
