That's the sort of thing that happens to me, the cinnamon stick or the bay leaf or the whole cardamom  Oh and mine will be the only piece of fish with bones in. :rotfl:

Glad her first day went well, will she be going back tomorrow. :p
Lol, It always happens to our DS, he's 41 now, called Joe, but from being about 3 you could guarantee that his 'boneless' fillet of fish would have a bone in it, if we ever get one now we still say Oh b@gger, I've got Joe's fish!

    Thanks Bubbs for fizz deal.

We've had an anniversary Chinese take away - last time we had one here Dad was sick sick sick & more sick all through the night :o As soon as Mum & I had gone back up to our beds, closed our eyes, his bell would ring ....
So hopefully this will not be repeated as we went to a different one.
My DS is cooking spinach, that I de stalked for her, she is making spinach & ricotta lasagne for the vegetarians option.

    Turkey cooked, smells delicious.

Dad tucked up in bed with his iPad & Great British Bake Off. So peace at last :rotfl:
Wheel chair man fine tuned his new wheel chair so no more taking corners off doors, & dragging tablecloth & table ware off when he leaves the table. The arms rested on table & Dad would reverse out with cloth attached :eek:
He is so much stronger, his 'dead' arm is gaining in movement, but muscles need building up. Walking on his zimmer 4 times a day. All adds up.
Plus he can now browse internet, a huge mental step, he found the Berlingo :T:T
What a ffaff trying to insure it today. As it has had a ramp fitted. Prudential quoted £1100 :eek:
Used Quidco quote & got it down to £373 :T
Is your dad not entitled to higher rate mobility allowance and therefore a motability vehicle?

TM please help the ladies with their workings out.

Never been sure of how to work the 10% out. I see it as a bonus.
If 10% of difference that adds 26p making £2.86 total. If it is 10% of products bought then that would be an apg of £2.60 plus 10% of the £9.60 spent which would add 96 p to £2.60 making total apg £3.56.

Like to know how to work this out please.

A's say they should be 10% cheaper than other s markets
    -so if A's price = £1 and t's price=90p
    -10% cheaper would be , 10% of 90p=9p= 81p
    -A's price £1-81p = apg of 19p

morning all! someone asked yesterday if I had got my painting done, re - the dulux challenge. YES I did! Everything in dining room was moved back and forth and only went back once cleaned and if not required shed or bin.....2 bin bags later!! found a few bottles of coke from 2014 which I still tried but alas they were very flat! Photos were taken once done and uploaded to dulux, I got an email at 6:30 Tuesday morning to say receipt unclear, so I rescanned it and took a few pics on the camera as it wasn't the clearest of receipts and am happy to say that before lunch I had an email back to say prepaid card on way :) Woohoo and bonus is room still tidy!
