Coming to the end of 8 years of having a child at uni. Ask away!
Lol. We have done that - though an apartment rather than chateaux. Problem is that we book it up for renting and end up going elsewhere.
Always remember my mother sending cake in the post. was crumbs by the time it arrived but I didn't have the heart to tell her, so more kept on arriving.
I try to send washing tabs, deodorant, the useful kind of things plus any samples I will not use. Always pop in a couple of mini bottles of wine and facepacks for the girls.
When DD was at uni if I went up the kitchen would be scrubbed within an inch of its life as the lads she shared with looked forward to me cooking a roast for them all. It was nice bonding time with them all and we all know it doesn't cost much.

Irn Bru Extra (a new sugar free version that i've never seen/heard of before) is 75p for 2 litre bottle in Ms
I'd have thought that was a bog-standard offer:). (Sorry:o:o.) :rotfl:Just laughing at myself now - the Barr Tizer 2L (and, if there are any other non-Irn Bru Barrs at M, then those too - always a difficulty when I have just Barr Tizer in my Ms but the label says "Barr 2L offer" - does that mean there are others?) has been going from 75p to 2 for £1.50 to back to 75p again - I'd therefore imagine that a Barr Irn Bru Extra 2L will do the same thing probably simultaneously.0 -
Now that's the kind of womble I like :j. from today.

So they miss the Beetroot and don't even get the 83p that I would have thought the SELs in M would give them (they are supposedly 47p in M until 11th September). This is clearly "Cooked Beetroot 300g" in M. Hopeless!
Any reason why they now fail to pick up the Tomatoes? Therefore now resulting in A no longer being 10% cheaper than M if those had been bought more carefully:(.0 -

I'd rather have one where the price collection agency picked up the Round Lettuce in M as A aren't 10% cheaper than M on that either.
EDIT: I know it's a few pence (although pennies eventually add up to pounds) but I think my penchant is for something that is accurate (at least when accuracy would work in our favour).0 -

Following on from the house-buying posts, could anyone explain how porting a mortgage works when buying a more expensive house? I've read loads of articles and I'm just finding it incredibly confusing! We've got a mortgage meeting next month and I'd like to go there with a good idea of what I'm talking about, or at least a good impression of it0
