The Stork is looking tempting though as it's the more expensive of the two on A's own prices per unit and A apparently have only ever gone down to £1 on this 500g version:rotfl:. Therefore, dragging them down somewhat more than that is always tempting!
You could certainly do worse by buying the 1Kg that "looks good" (because on A's prices it seems to be cheaper and is therefore more expensive) at £2 against W, getting an N/A as W doesn't have it, failing to get any 10% vs elsewhere as W comes out best overall and thus still paying A more for it than Iceland that have that at £1.80 at the moment! So, 500g at about £1.60 per 1Kg is certainly better. (I hope the £1.60, or about 80p for 500g, is the final price versus W, although materialised only when you use any voucher that results from an Avs W shop and, of course, always put back into more goods from A again.)0 -

May be some of the A Flavoured Milk (1L) (chilled) vs 2 for £2 at T.
I think on some long life A recently went down to 85p, so none of those ever get back onto the list now vs £1.
Msm has got the M price for the chilled on the long life version, so it's incorrect and the long life in A won't work - it should compare against £1.30 for M (M's price on the long life) unless for example the APG price collectors somehow get the chilled price and put it to the long life version for A, which is unlikely. Anyway, I think long life at one point went down to 85p in A (although it's now £1.30) but, given the 85p price, why would anyone compare against £1 for 90p net now? Which is unlikely to work as M's price is £1.30.0 -

I have held back 20%. I think the problem is that they cocked up their figures up and are now panicking because I've held £700 back. There was also an issue in that something that was quoted for didn't get done because they'd underestimated how much hardcore they needed, and were running at a loss, so just didn't do it.
Very difficult situation, know the ladies who own the business, one is in the same line of business as me if you catch my drift, its her wifes company. They've done work for me before but very very minor. They didn't actually do this, sub contracted it out, but honestly, it is shocking.
I agree.
I would keep the personal stuff completely separate LS. Because it's not personal. You just want value for money.
They may feel it's disrespectful and offensive but all you've done is legitimately complain about poor workmanship. They are interpreting it as disrespectful but I'm sure you've been fair but firm.
Keep the lines of communication open. Could you have a meeting at your house to show them what the problem is....if it is shocking they need to see itTo do is to be. Rousseau

Again, a complicating factor (it shouldn't be, but with what happened with my friend passing away a month ago means I've struggled to separate it) is that one of them is going into hospital this week for a mastectomy. Because of this I have been super nice right from the start, too nice for my own good really as I now just feel like I've been completely taken advantage of and walked all over. If they want that money they'll need to take me to court. I'm in the process of getting some companies in to quote for what needs to be done to bring it up to an acceptable standard. I'm just worried that £700 won't be enough as it is honestly awful. This was such a lot of money for me t pay out, and quite an impulsive decision, very unlike me, and its really come back to bite me.
A formal letter is good.
The thing is that you are not being nasty.....you come over as totally reasonable .....you just want value for money. I doubt they would take you to court if the workmanship is poor...you could counter claim.
Why don't you wait and see what the new quotes come in at ...you might get a pleasant surpriseTo do is to be. Rousseau

Can someone please tell me how I do a screen shot and explain how I send it to Holiday Extras ? Or is it easier if I just phone them ?
I think I've found the same hotel/parking deal a few £'s cheaper elsewhere so, provided the prices don't change overnight, I'm hoping to book tomorrow.
I would appreciate any advice please.ELITE 5:2
