:doh:This another one showing OOS for A - so maybe a mix of 12 at full price vs T and see if any M prices are strange:
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/morrisons-price-comparison/Baby_Food_And_Snacks/Cow_And_Gate_Creamed_Carrot_And_Potato_4mth_125g.html
Except this forum keeps putting a space between the "h" and "t" of "html" in the address, even though on my editing page, I see no space - so may need to delete that space from the link and maybe it will then work - or maybe it is two spaces when you press the link and the URL goes into your address even though it seems to show as one space on this page. (Anyway - I can't delete the space in editing and get it to show correctly on this post - there is no space when I come to edit so it goes to "tml" if I try to delete a space which is not and thus end up deleting the "h" instead - I've tried deleting the full four letters and more and writing it again and it is still with the space when showing on the forum page itself.)
All this now about little spaces:rotfl::rotfl:.
Of course just a crafty attempt, I (don't really) think, to divert me away from and lose the main point - not very difficult to cause me to do! - which, to remind you now you've read all this and forgotten, is about the Cow & Gate product showing OOS for A on msm:rotfl:. Which you can, hopefully, see on the link - if you amend it a little.
See you, bye now:wave:.0 -

I have held back 20%. I think the problem is that they cocked up their figures up and are now panicking because I've held £700 back. There was also an issue in that something that was quoted for didn't get done because they'd underestimated how much hardcore they needed, and were running at a loss, so just didn't do it.
Very difficult situation, know the ladies who own the business, one is in the same line of business as me if you catch my drift, its her wifes company. They've done work for me before but very very minor. They didn't actually do this, sub contracted it out, but honestly, it is shocking.
I agree.
I would say you can't be expected to pay for work that wasn't done.
If the 20% is in proportion with the work that didn't get done then they have no claims on you. Their miss pricing of the job was not your fault and @ at original quote of £3500 it must have been substantial work.

Again, a complicating factor (it shouldn't be, but with what happened with my friend passing away a month ago means I've struggled to separate it) is that one of them is going into hospital this week for a mastectomy. Because of this I have been super nice right from the start, too nice for my own good really as I now just feel like I've been completely taken advantage of and walked all over. If they want that money they'll need to take me to court. I'm in the process of getting some companies in to quote for what needs to be done to bring it up to an acceptable standard. I'm just worried that £700 won't be enough as it is honestly awful. This was such a lot of money for me t pay out, and quite an impulsive decision, very unlike me, and its really come back to bite me.
Sorry seen this since my reply.
Has the work they have done been sub standard or is this just to get the 20% done?
You have been nice as I wouldn't have paid until the job they had quoted for had been done to a good standard. I don't expect to pay a deposit on a job either as reputable firms can finance their work.
Take lots of photos (and dig out some of before work if possible) important to have proof that some of the work quoted for was not done and also the standard of the work. If not up to standard then they need to pay to fix this so you might be the one taking them to court to pay for repairs.

I've kept going a little - and I now have all four 130g Cow & Gates!:j Another single one from a single store - just purely by chance that it's what was my missing one.
I'm still picking up random baby foods that, more rarely, have RTC pricing on their SELs even though many are now showing full price and mbuy and have started appearing online like that.Savvybuyer wrote: »[Strike]

Heinz Mum's Own Veg & Chicken Hotpot 10mth+ (250g)£1.00/Any 8 for £6.00 50p This should have worked, before they changed the SELs even though the price of the product hadn't changed, but I think not.

The one in bold is what I didn't have before Saturday. I have found it nowhere else - and now have it from one store only from nine I checked on Saturday. So, if the APG used my nine stores that I used on Saturday - it won't - then it would have 80p (probably incorrect price, it should be 50p) on just this one but others, including most if not all of the Cow & Gates, would I suspect be full price and mbuy as they're found in their other stores). I've kept it crossed out as I think all of them risk being found elsewhere at full price and mbuy SEL. I've no idea why the SELs were changed in the vast majority of Ms, or why random ones remain on RTC shelves with RTC pricing still showing (unless they have omitted to change their SELs in random stores there). I still think these are actual RTC price in M - I scanned one, marked at 97p on the RTC shelf of one store (despite other stores having 97p and mbuy on their SELs in main aisles and changing their pricing to that half a week before) and it scanned at 50p.
Maybe they just want to cause people to buy tenfold of them even if they are 30p each (of the 125g ones that have 10 for mbuys now on the shelves in probably nearly every M) - they can display any price at all on the shelf that is more expensive than the actual price - there's no law that requires them to show the correct price if the price they are showing is higher than the real one - and it may - cynic here - benefit them to have people buying tenfold and not realising they could just buy a single one at 30p. May also help them to shift more of an "RTC" unit, I don't know. I do not know if they are still on RTC prices in M - but I scanned one of them at the beginning of last week, five days after most stores changed their SEL to the full price and mbuy, and it still scanned at RTC price!0 -
I'm getting there - slowly but surely - I probably have about 4 sides of paper to go through now so, just about somewhere between a "normal" Monday collection (may be about 6 sides) and a Wednesday one (sometimes just two sides). So, certainly doable later today, although the list is otherwise frozen on last Wednesday and becoming out of date now temporarily. Some Neon Gel Pen (3 pack) at 50p? However, I have a 6 pack on 35p RTC which I never removed from the list, so, clearly no good with the 3 pack price now:rotfl:.
Does anyone think/know that there are some more (than what I have here)?Savvybuyer wrote: »Air Wick Mulled Wine by the Fire Single Electrical Refill (17ml)50p
Air Wick Mum's Baking Single Electrical Refill (17ml)50p
Air Wick Lake District Midnight Berry & Shimmering Mist Single Electrical Refill (17ml)50p
Again, one or two per store that has them (and most do not). I suspect some people will have others, a different one each, that I haven't got.
There are many more Air Wick products on RTC in M on the list now - and I still haven't finished from this update so there may be more! - and I'm just quoting the single 17ml electricals here, because I've now got three of those - thinking there will be somewhat more of those (different 'flavours'/variants) across M in total.
I don't think I have got any more Air Wick products (whether the 17ml single refill products or other products) at present - I've just had a glance through the rest of the information and I don't think there are any there but I can't guarantee that there are not - and may come across one later when I get to that page. If I haven't got any further ones from Saturday, which is likely, then, if there are in fact more in M, I'm remaining incomplete!:rotfl: Just deal with it - you know that's what I am!:(:p:D:rotfl::rotfl: I'm sorry, I've been unable to visit all 500+ stores over the weekend:rotfl:. Instead, you'll have to make do with my best attempt at what I have got.:)
