Evening. Been struggling to keep up properly on here for the last week or so as been a bit stressed with something going on at home.

Cowboy builder type scenario, although to do with garden work carried out to a very poor standard, and some ever increasing bonkers facebook messages to me about it as I have dared to complain about it and have held back money.

If there is anyone on here with legal knowledge about that kind of thing and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I would really appreciate some advice. The helpline provided by citizens advice/trading standards was not that helpful when I called this morning, and only told me what I had already found from google.

Hope everyone is well. I know di had good news, aj is still recovering, fc is off to be locked up soon and bubbs is on her holidays, but have skipped so much I've probably missed a lot. Sorry.

Too small you see - I have seen that M own label 1L flavoured milks have gone up to £1.20 - there are some Yazoo 1Ls on £1 - as far as I know just two of them - Strawberry and Chocolate - I have tried to establish if Banana exists anywhere - I haven't come across it and currently don't think it exists - but they are chilled versions whereas the Yazoo 1Ls in A appear to be long life. So, I can't put a comparison vs £1 against M onto the list. (There are three versions of long life Yazoo 1L showing on msm for M - it's saying Strawberry of that is £1, I'll need to have a look at that and appears not to have the chilled versions at all that M does have.)

May be some of the A Flavoured Milk (1L) (chilled) vs 2 for £2 at T.
I think on some long life A recently went down to 85p, so none of those ever get back onto the list now vs £1.

I'm pleased you've held back money.....does what you've paid so far cover the work they've done?

There's always the small claims court..... are you putting your complaints in writing?

I think the problem with rogue traders is that they are not bothered about their reputations or the mess they leave behind:o
