Thanks to everyone for their welcome back messages. It means loads to me after the last few weeks. Today i've sorted two huges bags for charity, done two washes, cleared the garden a bit, worked, written up an assignment, found a mechanic to sort the car who's willing to do it at cost for some free vouchers for treatments for his wifes birthday, helped children with oodles of homework, managed to find dvd of high school musical for £7.99 (i've bought as a treat for when DS goes into hospital as he loves it as much as his sister). Finally sat down. I'm going to follow the lists again tomorrow. Thanks for posting it pigpen, is lil_me on holiday? xxJanuary budget

I only "dropped in" to have a break from marking and prep for school, and I find that Jill is in labour! How exciting! I hope she is snuggling up with her dear little new arrival as I type. How wonderful! I must go and do some more work but the temptation to stay on here all night is so strong.....
Very little flying going on in my house by me, but stunningly my husband seems to have noticed how much more I was doing around the house while on maternity leave, and he has seriously upped his game. Hoovering, ironing, mopping the floors - unbelievable. Flying at work is working quite well, the routines I have worked out are helping to keep my stress levels down so far (early in the term, we shall see).
Hugs to all, and particularly Jill,

Thanks for posting it pigpen, is lil_me on holiday? xx
No, she is looking for a new house as her neighbours are mentally disturbed! and she is being generally WAY too busy to keep up.. so I'm roped in until she is ready to take over the reins again, whenever that might be! Just one less pressure on her for now.
Dusty.. my list isn't much shorter!! I have loads of catching up to do.. though I have vacuumed the hallway as it had a huge spider running about trying to eat me!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Pic of little one in her uniform for her first day at school (well morning). She really enjoyed it so hopefully that is all the problems of the past few weeks behind us.
Interview went well I think, but the salary they quoted was less than the job was advertised with .
Had to make chocolate caramel shortbread and chocolate orange cake for DH to take into work tomorrow as he has been on holiday. I did tidy the kitchen (sort of:o ), Scrub the bathroom, did the hall and bathroom floors and did another pile of washing - including DDs uniform that she had on for 3 hours as she got bird poo over it at playtime.
Early night for me as took me hours to fall asleep last night and DD2 came in about an hour after I had nodded off:mad: .
So excited to hear about Jill, as sending huge positive thoughts and look forward to hearing about the latest flybabe:D0 -

Just lost a post
Basically house we're looking at tomorrow I now have found out is for sale, so bit gutted as even if I like it if she isn't taking it off the market it's a no go. Like DP said not moving in paying £1200 in fees to be told it's sold 3 months or something later. Will need to ask tomorrow. Bit of a downer after seeing it has a jacuzzi bath! Room sizes are on the sales site which is handy as we've been able to see what size we're looking at and what will fit where.
Shell your DD looks a little darling (I know she has her moments) hope this helps with putting the past few weeks behind you and she calms down
LJD1 welcome home
No news on emails about Jill yet, sure she knows we're all thinking of her and trying to be patientmy friend who I took to the dentist today has 5 weeks to go (2-3 weeks by her date), she was having big practise ones yesterday and got herself all excited, false alarm thankfully as I know she's fed up but I would prefer her to hang on a little longer after having 2 pre terms myself.
Hugs to all, will catch up tomorrow hopefully. One day I might be more organised...........

Shell what a cutieglad she enjoyed her first day, always a relief to parents when they come home all smiles.
If I wasn't sure that W was a typical boy I am now! He has done 5 days full time now and so far I have had to wash 3 pairs of trousers and the same jumper 3 times  he comes out of school all untucked and black bright!!!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
