Come on.. updated lists please.. who has actually done something today???

I've finished stripping the landing.. YES!!!!!!!... need to arrange a plasterer now as the walls are a right old mess.. and the ceiling is worse! I am filthy, absolutely grafted again.. The shower is going to think I love it at this rate! The children only seem to have eaten half their lunches.. DD3 ate just her crisps and apple and just scoffed her sarnies and cake when she came out of school.. At least when they stay hot dinners they are supervised and not allowed to leave anything.

Oh I am SHATTERED!! I WANT MY BED!!!!! WWAAAIIILLLL!!!!!!!!

Best go get the rest of the gremlins from school.. they were at church after school club.. delegated.. DD1 collecting them on the way home from school. I still need to go post some parcels but hubby can watch these when he gets back from the glass shop..

  • DH is poorly with bronchitis so I'm going to leave the bedroom today and do the bathroom instead.

Will go upstairs in a mo and dig out the winter coats as I didn't round to doing that yesterday.
Had Visa bill in post today so need to do a bit of money juggling to see how much I can pay off that this month.

Dusty- do you think you could come up wuth the winning lottery numbers with your newly found talent?
Ollie- keep going with the babysteps, well done you
lil_me- hope you find somewhere suitable soon
tracy- that's not being sad, that's being organised!
LJD- hello again and hugs to you
pigpen- DS has hardly eaten a thing at lunch times since he started at junior school. I've cut back on what I put in and what is left over, as long as it's in a reasonable state when we get in he has if he asks for a snack!

No news from Jill yet then!

Right better go and do something productive.

Well there's been an enforced clean of the kitchen today - I knocked a bottle of schnapps out the cupboard and before I could catch it, the blooming thing bounced off the hob cracking the bottle and then smashed on the concrete floor  Wouldn't mind so much but it was a full bottle  Thats £8 down the drain (and in the bin!) Everything was fine, just coated in Schnapps :rotfl: Tea is in the slow cooker, DD needs a bath (School photos tomorrow so her uniform is in the machine now  ) and then I'm settling down to play some games and I'll do the ironing later as well. :p

Just waiting on OH to get in so I can have my hands/blisters plastered (only because they keep weeping and I don't want to get the powdery stuff in them!) and get on with the washing up (new rubber gloves which I am NOT allergic too bought  ) while he baths DD. :D

Right, need to go and put the veg pan on the hob so I can remember to put it on when OH gets in :rotfl::rotfl: Laters

    Today's update:

    My sink is STILL shining!

S&S bathroom, kitchen and downstairs loo.

Tackled two hotspots (dining table and coffee table).

Laundry done and dried on line.

Moved airer into spare bedroom (saves having knickers and socks on display in living room or kitchen) - why didn't I think of this ages ago??

Sent OH to the supermarket - hmmmmmmm wonder what's for tea tonight!

Doesn't sound like much done today - but I am 'on-duty' so have done a full day's work today as well.

Wonder how Jill is getting on?

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Tinselfairy!

    be back later, Ollie

  • Have cleaned the bathroom and flung out a couple of old suncreams.

Just need to hoover and then wash the laminate floor in there.

Made lunches for tomorrow and sorted tonights tea as much as I can for now.

Washed one lot of jackets. Coats now in WM. :T

Wrapped up nephew's BD pressie which my dear dad will collect tomorrow and take down to him. My sister doesn't like me so I don't get to see him at 'family' occasions.

Just about to do my 30 mins of ironing and then DS will be back in from playing across the road with his friend for tea.
