  • Evening folks,
I came home early with good intentions but ended up having a snooze with the cats but I'm ready to give an hour in the cause of my daily sanity. I think I'm tired 'cos I'm staying up late on Facebook, I swore I wouldn't join but it's now one more addiction to my growing list.

Nicki, your hands sound pretty bad girl, did you say it was from gloves? latex allergy maybe? Hope they heal fast.
Shirleypark, nice to see you back, I was wondering where you'd got to too.

A hug for everybody else, been quite quiet on here today.
Still no ironing to do, I do want to wash the curtains in the livingroom but it'll have to wait until the weekend. The logistics of it during the week make my head go goo. Actually, everything's making my head go goo lately, having trouble switching off.
I've got to be up at stupid O'clock in the morning as my parents are driving over for me to take them to the airport, my Mum bless her asked if I wanted a wake up call as they left her house.. an hours drive away from mine. No I blummin don't thank you! Also got the Occ'y nurse at work giving me a VDU eye test.Fingers crossed 'cos I'll then qualify for £75 voucher off some new specs. I don't even wear my old ones as the prescription is so out of date and can't stretch to new ones myself.

Well this isn't getting my jobs done. Back at 8.50 to update.

Sat up Dr's for 3/4 hour past my appointment time!
Tea was from SC (which was put on yesterday), so nothing to prepare there.

    Must do better tomorrow:o

  • Evening. Well ive done most of my list.

Jobs left to carry over / keep going on.....
    • Wash my coats and fleeces on the coat rack
    • Will phone up for my chimney to be swept - that was one of my weeks tasks, Pigpen you are defiantly a mind or rather house reader :D
    • Wash throw from sofa (spilt tea on it about 3 weeks ago....:o) - still to go in. Im washing my big dog (toy thing my ex bought me. i loved it and so did the cat so when i moved out i kept it for her, now shes stopped lying on it so im washing it and car booting it!!
    • Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week

    Weeks Tasks
    • Split some logs and get them stacked ready for winter
    • Go through the house (as each room comes up) finding things to go to car boot or ebay - i will reduce the amount i have in the house there isnt much at the moment but i just want the bare minimum!! Done the kitchen and lounge
    • Sort my wardrobe out. I put all my summer clothes away on Sunday and fished the winter ones out now to have a sort and see what i think i will actually use!! - i have far too many clothes and they are slobby ones from when i was a student now i have to buck my ideas up!
Im going to go cook beetroot soup and some carrot and corriander soup for the freezer. Ive checked the cupboards and written a list of things i can cook in the evenings, so i can have some inspiration in the evening and not have to get take-away!

Going to have an early night, im up at 0530hrs to lifeguard (my old part time job i keep up) then its straight to my proper job at 0830hrs for a full day there, then of course its the pub for the footy tomorrow!!!

They're much better this evening. I'm even going to attempt to have a bath later but only wash my hair with one hand ;) I'm pretty sure it's a cheap latex allergy - I've had it before but never this severe or on my hands :o:eek::o

Well I've managed to do one load of washing as it was taking ages to dry, and went for a shorter walk just this morning as I hurt my ankle going down some steps  But I have made a huge dent in my computer files, and I managed to hoover through downstairs, and wipe down the worktops, oh and make tea. OH has done the washing up again and I've started the tea for tomorrow - all the veg is prepared so tomorrow I'll just make up the casserole in the slowcooker :D Just the lunches to do and the washing to bring in. I'm going to leave the ironing for today as I'm planning on watching Heroes tomorrow so will do it then ;) Well OH and I did do 2 hours worth last night and cleared almost everything :D

Right, off to Facebook to look for some more music videos for DD.

    I think I am dead!!!

My landing is naked!! The little bit outside the boys room needs doing and there is a tiny bit behind the chest of drawers I put there this morning which I need to do too. I would have carried on until it was all done but I had to feed and get this lot to bed.. simply ran out of time.

Nicki I have a latex allergy and I can't touch anything remotely latexy.. bananas, kiwis and avacados make me ill too because they have a latex connection too... and every time i have some kind of reaction it gets worse.

Suppose I shoud make some kind of concerted effort and get this lot to bed.. have a shower.. go get the change from my mother.. and then I can go to bed!!! .. bliss.

Bum.. best vacuum the landing sharpish.. it is covered in scratty bits of paper!

Nicki, never before on your hands? Ouch
Aimee, I'd love to have your energy, you really work hard and play hard don't you! Good that you're getting organised food wise too, I found it hard to start with-trying to be bothered to cook for just me after a day at work, I'm now wishing I'd bought a family sized freezer..
Sproggi, don't beat yourself up,any job done is progress. Even if I'm just 'treading water' at least I feel like I'm not going backwards. And tomorrow is another day..
