Evening everyone - it has just taken me an hour to get through all of the posts, and I expect when I refresh, there will be a whole new page up there. Well done everyone for all of your flying, and welcome to all the newbies and returners.

Thanks very much to everyone who has taken the time to write to me. I must admit, that my memory is useless, so although I read everyone's posts, by the time I get to the end, I tend to have forgotten what everyone has said, so appologies for the lack of individual comments to everyone (I'll try to write to a few of you now), and have a hug from me instead. :grouphug:

Lil_me I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you about the house you love - I hope you get it, even if things will be a bit stretched for xmas - you could always take a leaf out of pigpen's book and collect vouchers from pigsback if you don't do this already, cos boots always do that 3 for 2 thing at xmas and you could use boots vouchers and get it all for free!
Rach well done for the excercise today, looks like you've become a swimlady today.
tracy I hope you feel a bit better soon.
Jill I'm getting really excited now, and I'm glad you have delegated your jobs to DH - just hope he will be able to stay awake for the night feeds when little one is born too.
becca well done for the giving up smoking hun.
HopeElizzy you brought a lump to my throat when I read your post, as I planted snowdrops for my granddad when he died, as they were his favourite flowers, and he was a keen gardener, and it reminded me of him. It was a really nice thing to do, and how nice that you were able to find a flower named after her too.
kazmeister I'm glad your DD is being good for you.
I don't have a problem with catsnot Pollybear, but I do have to remove his (the cat's) muddy pawprints from the windowsill and windows (he asks to go out by scraping his paw on the window) every time I clean the bedroom lol, but he's just like his father (OH) who leaves his muddy pawprints throughout the flat when he's been gardening.
nikki I hope your hands are feeling better soon.
Thank you pigpen for making me laugh as per usual - I know I'm always guaranteed to laugh at least once a day as part of my pigpen therapy.
Denize I keep forgetting that you're in NewZealand, and wondering why you say good morning when it's evening here (I'm a natural blonde - please speak slowly).
aimee here's to the non-ironing club - that's what TD's are for arent they?

Hope I haven't missed too many of you. Am off to put the pizza in the oven now cos I can't be bothered to start cooking properly now, plus I'm hungry and it only takes 20 mins to cook.

    Take care,

    sexymouse xx
PS. Feeling quite proud of myself for not having a moan like I usually do :T.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

One of our cats scrapes at the window to go out and come in. The other one has recently learnt to scrape to come in (she's a bit crap at it though). So we get mud and snot.........

We have a cat flap.. newly put in this week.. to remind hubby of why he should not try to kick the cats as they are coming in our out because he breaks them and they are a pig to replace.. lol Anyway this one is see-through but the old one wasn't and they would never use it.. I think it stemmed from one trying to run in and one trying to run out resulting in 2 cases of concussion!!! One was being chased by the neighbourhood Alpha male and the other was going out to rescue him!!

  • Evening everyone,

Well I've not done too badly (though whether [strike]Miss Whip-cracker[/strike] Pigpen will think so is another matter ;) ):

    Level One
    [strike]Clean floors,
    [/strike]

    Level Two
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/strike]
[strike]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
    [/strike]

[strike]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)[/strike]
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round Please miss - can I be excused, I did it on Friday
[strike]Clean the INSIDE of the microwave... don’t forget the ceiling!!!
    [/strike]

[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances
    [/strike]
15 minute fling and tidy in that junk drawer in the kitchen.. get rid of all that stuff you put in there for ‘later’ .. mind those prehistoric mousetraps!!

    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wash the washer drawer out if it is icky, check filters too!!
    • [strike]30 minutes ironing!!![/strike] Did all my ironing in less than 30 minutes (I have a fairly minimialist approach!)
    • Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week I promise to do it on my day off next Monday
I am feeling pretty grotty tonight as, for some reason, I didn't sleep at all well last night. So I think an early night is called for.

Well done Becca for managing a week without smoking. Keep up all the good work.

Welcome to all newbies, and hugs to everyone else.

Sorry, I'm exhausted and uninspired so I'm off to bed. Night night all

good grief how many posts today ???!!! Haven't even attempted to read them.

Good day, even managed to swish and swipe the bathroom.
Keeping on top of the laundry and dishes.

DS starts school tomorrow, think we are all set though I feel sick at the thought of it.

Sorry for shortness of post but really do feel sick, going to bed soon

You know.. I may start to feel hurt.. noone called Lil_me things like that when she took over from the lovely Moggins!! I may have to cry..:cry:

Nobody screamed "hell no!!!" when I volunteered!! :rotfl:

I can't actually believe how nice DS1's room smells.. it smells like a room rather than a cowshed!!!!! If we could have bottled that smell it oculd have been used as germ warfare.. or gas attacks.. we could use his socks I suppose

I have the millionth load of washing in and another load in the tumble.. another load hung out in the dark and another lot in the basket to hang out inthe morning!! Is there as end!!

D'oh - now you're making us feel guilty! We're just worried that you seem to enjoy doling out the tasks just a *little* too much ;)
