Thank you for the informed response. :wall:

However, judging from your 'arguments' elsewhere, I'll desist from engaging in any kind of tit-for-tat with you.

That would almost certainly work out best for you. Continue with your soundbites, I'll keep pointing them out.

you voted to leave the EU several years ago.

the issues are real and your belittling them adds nothing to the democratic debate.

You belittle the process with every post. With every strawman and ridiculous, repetitive accusation and assertion.

I didn't vote to leave anything. I left the UK for my own reasons. As I've stated countless times before, there are many reasons for acting beyond a like or dislike of the EU's policy towards freedom of movement.

Although I didn't know it at the time, not sharing an island with you was one of the advantages of leaving. Why I don't just go on ignoring your boring nonsense is a mystery.

Could we cope with a Head of State that celebrated Christmas in January?
That sounds like an excellent MSE plan.

We could all buy our presents in the sales!:rotfl:

    So true.

Plus those England fans in Marseille.

    Scum.

Perhaps free movement of people has it downsides.

When I was young I had a comic where Scrooge McDuck (I think) does exactly this, declares that the family will celebrate Christmas in January so that they can by presents during the sales.

You know how this story goes, of course, after several pages of intense peer pressure and all his acquaintances telling him that he is wrong and a bad person, he eventually cracks, does a last-minute Christmas Eve dash round the shopping centre, gives full-price gifts to all his family and is rewarded for conforming to social norms with hugs and warm emotions. The six-year-old me had difficulty seeing what was wrong with his plan.

If the country went Orthodox or whatever and pushed Christmas back a couple of weeks, we could all buy our gifts from Amazon.com and Amazon.fr in their post Christmas sales and the nation's famillies could save millions.

I've lost track of where we were going with this, if we vote Brexit do we get to take back control of Christmas?

The Nazis produced rather a lot of propaganda. I wouldn't be surprised if every single political propaganda poster that has been and ever will be produced has a Nazi one that looks like it.

UKIP's latest poster compared with Nazi propaganda

Shame people haven't got better things to do with their time. Than try and connect totally unrelated issues. Another nail in the coffin for politics in this country which continues to degenerate to even lower depths.
