Exciting Ruby about the house, I'm sure all will be fine.
Dinah - good news about the leapforce thing, hope that will help with money. Agree don't spread yourself too thin with helping other people, need to help yourself too!
CMD - hope Evie feels better soon. Heidi was up half the night with what I think was stomach pains so hoping she isn't coming down with anything.
Oh no Wendz, hopefully it wasn't anything! I hate vomiting bugs.
Agree with the others. I have stopped giving anything to charity until my debts are paid off. Well I still give away clothes and do shoeboxes etc but not regualr givingTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Oooh exciting stuff about the house Ruby! Hope you're in and settled for Christmas!
Glad to read about the little payments Dinah, it makes a big difference in the long run! Keep it up!
I finally did one of my new year's resolutions on Sunday (!!!) and went along to a session with the local roller derby team! They're running a couple of free taster sessions so on Sunday I decided to Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway! It was ace, great group of girls, loved the skating and looking forward to going again (a week on Sunday) with the intention of joining! Eeeep! Got super sore thighs though, still... I hope that after a couple of months practice I'll have an awesome bottom half!
Poor Evie, hope she's better soon, and hope Heidi is OK too!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
That sounds awesome, Birdie! You've definitely got the edge to be derby girl. When do you get to pick your name?!
Hope your girls are okay, you two! I discovered very quickly that I hate seeing Oscar even a little bit off colour. Not fun at all
Off to buy Oscar his winter clobber tonight! Mentioned to OH how he probably needs thicker bottoms (I have jumpers for literal days) and he suggested we go during Oscar's normal play time of 5:30-7pm between his dinner and bath time!0 -
Hope Evie is better soon and the rest of you are spared.
Interesting funding meeting, turns out they've just been granted some funding, some of which they're hoping at allocate to ask me to run a funded mindfulness and meditation course, so paid work for me at no cost to the users which would be great. They also need their website and graphics finished, things I am perfectly capable of doing and have experience of, so that might be a bit more work too. They're looking to make a couple of positions funded, mine included, so hopefully it won't be unpaid for very long.
Can't even call that last minute Birdie, over a month to go!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

We're watching it too. I don't understand how it even got this far. If Bernie was on the other side of the vote I really think things would be different.0

Glad I'm not the only one who is staring at bbc news in disbelief! 2016 really is the year we're never going to speak of again.

I mean, I do get why people would want to vote for him. I don't agree with it, but I understand it. Said to a friend I don't think he'll need to worry about getting the wall up, think Mexico will happily throw one up to keep him out!
Meant to say the classes for the charity sound like they'll be fun. Plus, it will help get word out for other classes. Someone who comes might not be able to afford it on their own, but they might have friends they can recommend it to who do (on a selfish level!)
Managed to get Oscar some nice warm clothes last night, and my Mum has said she'll be buying him some winter clothes so he'll be well kitted out. Gone down the dungaree root so he looks pretty hella. Other than that I have £11.51 in my bank, and need to fund a full day out with it tomorrow which will be interesting to say the least :rotfl:0 -

Err, I think I'll have to actually learn how to go faster than a Very Slow Thing before thinking about names!I also have to figure out how to pay for all the kit too... I wonder if Santa will bring it?!

I have no idea !!!!!! has gone wrong with the world this year. At least this morning I wasn't as shocked/upset as I was with the Brexit vote, I think by this stage I was expecting the worst. But still... WTAF?!?!
