Well done on the match betting Dinah, feels like the tread has slipped back a few years! How's the bed progressing?0

Going to go upstairs and work on painting Ben's room now, hoping to get the cupboard at least done today, then I can move onto the bed maybe at the weekend.
Woken at 5.45 today, but usually I get back to sleep as NIM gets up at 6am for work so he gives Grace breakfast and sticks on Numberjacks, but this morning he stood on something on the floor that pierced his foot and somehow all the 4 letter word's he's ever learnt escaped that hole in his foot and enriched our children's vocabulary. He's okay thankfully but that was me up for the day, so I did all my cleaning and tidying before I even did the school run -I realised burning the candle at both ends isn't enough - there is a middle I can be burning tooDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

11pm is an early night??? I'm usually in bed with my book by the time DH gets in at 10.15 then it's lights out around 10.50! If he wasn't home so late I'd probably be asleep before 10 most nights!!
Sunday night is my favourite as we're usually asleep by about 9.30! :rotfl:
Well done on the MB, might have to give it a go...Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Well done on the matched betting!
Poor NIM with his foot.
I'm normally in bed between 10 and 11.0 -
Was it lego?
That is a brilliant amount from MB, I wish I could get my head round it.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I'm usually in bed at 10 most nights as I'm up at 5 for work!
DH has made quite a bit from MB - enough to clear his rather extensive overdraft and now he's using it to work on his credit card. I've decided to try and give it a go when we move as the extra cash would be most welcome!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

Got a text from another yoga teacher while at swimming lessons, asking me to cover three classes, so that's another £75 once I've actually taught them. Covering for a different teacher around the same time, which is £50. I only have to do 10 hours of teaching in the next 18 months to qualify - I have 16 hours already lined up before Christmas, and if I can find a blasted venue then that should be an extra 10 hours on top of that.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That's great about the extra work, Dinah. It must feel nice that other teachers are that confident in your teaching style that they want you to do theirs in their place.
Thanks, Birdie! If you let me know how much the postage is when you finally wrestle the trousers from your OH's grasp I'll pay you back? I get so many compliments on that reindeer hat! Got stopped 4 times alone when I was out earlier this morning. Your MIL is in demand!
I've been going to bed at 9:30 with my alarm being so early! Oscar's been getting up at 11:30 all week without fail to give him a bottle. So those two hours are keeping me in the passing side of functioning.
Ben's room looks amazing. That's some thomas the tank engine fantasy realness right there.
Archers - I can't believe they've gone up that much. Hopefully things won't change a great deal after April with the markets because we're hoping to buy next summer. How's the wedding planning going?
Made £24.15 after postage selling 3 of Oscar's cloth nappies this morning. Happy with that! My little savings pot for Christmas is up to £200 now :beer:0 -
We are seriously looking at selling the house in the new year, mostly down to the mould issues we continue to have. I thought about seeing if anyone wanted to help list some of my ebay stuff for a 50% take, as I really lack the time atm but can't afford to donate it all, put a message on a local group that I volunteer with (most people are SAHMs but as a group we advise on benefits, run a food bank voucher scheme etc, there are ALWAYS posts asking for help with food this week, fuel, new clothes for their children) and I have to admit I'm surprised no one has replied. Sorry, not true, I had one message saying 'do you really bother to do this? Seems like a lot of fuss for a few pounds'. Left feeling like a nutter when I just want a less cluttered house and no credit cards anymore.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
