Ohh disneyland will be amazing. Poppy is desperate to go but going to wait till Heidi is old enough to enjoy it a bit more.

That's awful about those kids, you have to wonder where they get these things from. Hope they nip it in the bud.

Poor Max!! I hope schools have come a long way from how they dealt with bullying when I was at school. At least he felt like he could come to you with it rather than keeping it in and letting it continue.

I can imagine Heidi has a lot with having a big sister! Having plenty of my sister's handmedowns never stopped me from stealing her things, however  What are you thinking of getting them?

Will admit Rich is getting a OTT present this year if I can afford it. But its one of those things I'll have to hide at my parents or sisters, then somehow leave the house (in my car, alone!) without rousing suspicion. Used to be able to get sneaky presents so easily before he worked from home and now he gets to the door before me, it's impossible!

She would much rather play with her big sisters stuff than baby toys she is a fan of barbies etc and loves dollies. Her dad and I are going to get her the 4 talking telletubbies as she loves the show. Also got her some books and might get a couple of other little bits. Poppy wants a new 'big girl' scooter and a few other little bits as well but trying to keep things to suggest to others to buy her.

I was about to reproach you for letting Ben get away with demanding a pizza, but the cat is sitting here looking at me waiting for her third breakfast and I know I'll relent, so...
I did put the fresh one back and got him a frozen one - £3.60 for fresh down to £1 for frozen, and it fed both of us.

Speaking of Oscar, I had the shock of my life when I discovered once he's out of his current size (9-12 months) we're out of stuff! So I'm keeping my eye out in sales to get 12-18 month things. I never thought this day would come :rotfl:
Sorry - plan was to keep passing things on, but Ben is still in his 12-18 month stuff - all the trouser legs are now too short and the waists are still too big, hence why we are such fan of dungarees, wee lad is 2nd centile on weight and 75th for height.

Max came home from after school yesterday (they go 2 days a week) very upset. He said older boys there were calling him 'stupid' and a 'f**ker'. I went in this morning straight away and they were very responsive. Said they will find out the names and contact the parents straight away. He is such a quiet, sensitive soul that my heart was breaking for him all last night. Hoepfully that's the end of it[/QUOTE]

Oh no that's horrible! Poor lad.

Another £26.56 made yesterday matched betting, couldn't do any more as waiting for money to return to the account. Did manage to get caught up on some design work though.

Lesson planning this morning, doing a Harry Potter theme this afternoon with my family class.

More spends this morning, £7.70 on some more plastic wallets to keep lesson plans in, £18.46 on a laminator and wallets (both for work). I find I end up printing the same things week after week, if I can laminate my resources and lesson plans, just keep each theme in a wallet it should be a lot easier to grab and go and save money in the long run. But these all come out of business funds and reduceour tax liability (interesting fact, if I make a loss in the business (which I will this year as training alone was over £2k) I can take my loss off NIMs income for child tax credit purposes). I did spend £5.99 on a book for Ben (been on Christmas wishlist for ages, waiting for an opportunity like this) to bring my Amazon order to £20 as the laminator pockets were an add on item. By the same author one of the most popular books we've had - it has a hammer inserted in the front and as you go through reading it the child has to help fix things, hang pictures etc by using the hammer on the book - both of mine adore it.

Oscar loves teletubbies too! He was cheesin' calmly at them as I was running around like a wild thing trying to get us out of the house on time.

Don't worry Dinah, he got a lot of use out of everything up to 6 months. Then shot right by 6-9 month things which is why we're in such a pickle! I've passed everything forward again, along with some of Oscar's bits, to a friend who's expecting a little boy in January. He's started playing with that wooden set now too! Headbutts it mostly, he's not too bright if I'm honest.

Added that book to Oscar's Christmas wish list!

That's interesting about being able to take any losses off of NIM's income! I was looking into being able to put some of my untaxable income limit (there's a proper word for it, but it's lost to me - I forgot the word "appropriate" last week) onto Rich's limit because I'm waaaaay under it with maternity pay but I'll need it back for next year so I don't know if it's worth the faff

NIM has my tax free allowance as I don't earn over 11k, but this is seperate as a self employed person I can claim my losses. So if for example you started a little etsy business, the equipment was £900 but you only made £200 before April 1st (or 6th is it?) you could take the £700 loss off Rich's wage and get slightly more tax credits next year (assuming of course you get tax credits). For me this year with training costs and set up costs (30 yoga mats for example aren't cheap) it's very relevant.

I'll have a look to see if we have any stuff lurking Cinny. I know we have 18m stuff as Zach's still got some lurking in his drawers (we are currently in a loop of stress with a pair of jeans that I keep washing to put in the box to send to you, DH keeps putting them on Zach and everyone complains that they're too small so I wash them... then DH puts them on him again!). Anyway, will see what I can send you! I showed that photo of Oscar to MIL and she is very happy seeing her knitting having another love! :D

I'm already stressed about the stuff that's going to arrive over Christmas. Gah! He's getting a (reduced!) Playmobil pirate ship from us. What's the politest way of telling my brother and SIL that we don't want a pile of landfill fodder from them this year and we'd rather just have 1 nice thing and leave it at that?? She's a bleeding menace for 'little fillers' that fall apart the minute you touch them, or you don't even need/want in the first place!!

Poor Max CMD, what little gits. Hope he's feeling better?

Yeah I'm from York Tete, but been in Newcastle, Lincolnshire & then Scotland for the past decade now, scary how time flies. I'll be working in Leeds but it depends where OH gets a job as to where we live so to start with I'll be in my parents attic!

Cinny - hopefully we can buy somewhere after the wedding... if I have any money left that is! I read yesterday that the average house price has gone up £17k in a year!! Makes you want to cry

11pm... calling a very early one tonight as this morning I slept through the alarm and only woke up when both kids came and bounced on the bed demanding drinks at 8.25.... since NIM had left an hour earlier that's a bit worrying, he'd set the alarm for 7.30 for me to make sure I woke up if I fell asleep again, but it seemed that it had been going off for a solid hour and I was merrily sleeping away.

Total of £163.88 made on matched betting in the last 3 days now. No etsy orders today. No walk ins to class today BUT the lady who I hire the room off decided to give me the last 2 weeks free so that's saving £20. My session today went really well though, lots of fun.
