I'm a wheelchair user and have a radar key. I wish I could use the regular toilets as people seem to trash the disabled ones. I hate when train stations (yes partick I'm looking at you) give members of the public a key to the radar toilet, they use the larger space to procreate and leave toilet roll and used condoms on the floor - it's minging!
Also the cleaners never seem to clean disabled toilets as often as regular toilets, quite often there's a bit of paper on the wall with a date and time from some time last week written on the bottom row.0 -

Not interpreting the signs is.
I could need to go but the signal won't be interpreted by my brain as its confused.
I have many times had stains on my underwear as not been able to go in time, very very rarely though have I followed through its more something comes out.
If you don't know you need to go (due to the way your brain works) you can't go which is why I CAN go 12 hours without needing to go and other times it will be multiple times in a short period (in part again due to brain pattens as it thinks once you go you go multiple times even if you are empty)
So in other words confusion of the brain rather than the body which leads to the end result of needing to rush to toilet.0 -

UTI and colon damage is more common with those with autism due to the fact that many sufferers are unable to toilet themselves until they are desperate as until then the physical signs are hard to interpret.
This is why many autistic children have their bladder and bowl movements monitored very closely.0 -
The card shown in OP's post mentions that the holder has a medical condition. ASD is a medical condition. Disabilities can be physical and psychological (or a mixture of both, of course), I see no reason why Dekaspace should be told they do not have the right to use the card.0

Dekaspace said he didn't have a medical condition - sorry if I believed him.0 -

Yes but they also said they had Autism (and its associated issues with 'when to go'), which is a medical condition. I interpreted it as them saying they didn't have a physical bladder/bowel condition. Which, admittedly could be a wrong interpretation. Either way, I find it a little unnecessary to decide for someone else whether their disability warrants the need to use a toilet quickly - only the person themselves can say that.0 -

Thats what I meant, I don't have something that causes me to lose control of my bodily functions, or even something like arthritis that makes it painful/difficult to wait in a queue or use normal toilets
I saw it as more a psychological condition than physical/medical.
So in other words I saw the term medical as another would say physical.0
