Was just thinking of you, just had a dip in Fistral bay.

The car park is quite an entrapment zone. Cars parked on the roundabout, cars going round the roundabout the wrong way because its not marked clearly, a crane blocking the entrance road and no real footpaths leading to folk walking on the roadway.

No wonder it takes at least 10 minutes between passing the camera to getting a ticket.

regardless of the outcome of POPLa , I think a case against smart and the landowners should be brought on the grounds of equality and ANPR not being fit for purpose in a car park


smart clearly knew of the OPs disabilities when she appealed , by declining the appeal they have left both themselves and the landowner open to charges

Well I just hope it goes to PoPLA then and costs the scamming barstewards 27 quid plus VaT to lose.

ohh , I hope it costs them a LOT more after a case under the disability discrimination acts is brought

Hello Everyone, Let me introduce myself. My name is John and I'm Stacey's husband. I wanted to come on the forum and thank everyone that has been helping Stacey thru all of the stress and worry over this parking charge.

I wish I could be more help to Stacey. Working all day and then taking care of Stacey before and after I go to work can be very difficult to get in any time to help do research. It has been comfort to me when I get home from work and Stacey is telling me about everyone that has helped her with either writing her appeal, giving her advice or plan just giving her some kind words to reassure her that things will turn out alright in the end and she should not be totally afraid of the entire process.

Before Stacey found this forum she was very afraid of what was going to happen. I know it has helped her a lot that she has found this forum and able to get support.

She wanted me to pass on that she has heard from Parking Prankster by email. He has told her that since Smart Parking has not written her any letter that she needs to move forward to the appeal. He went on to mention that it is sad that Smart Parking is letting it go this far.

To Ivor Stacey also wanted to say that she loves your photo and that it will be her toes in the water one day.

She is not able to respond at the moment because she is on her bed having a rest.

make you think about not doing a POPLa appeal , but at the first sign of a debt collection letter , hit them hard where it hurts by starting a equality act claim
