Nice to see you Juliejim, hope life is not too hectic.
Just popped washing into TD, like Kazwookie I dislike using it in the summer but the laundry mountain MUST be tackled and I don't know if I will be at home this weekend and rain is forecast all week.
I also switched the DW off and popped another load in. But house looking neater thanks to last nights efforts. I have stuff to drop off at the CS today, brought from sisters because she can't take it. It's the only day this week I possibly can as I am working 3 full days after today.
Hope you all have a good day.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Good morning All
I didnt get anything done yesterday as OH had train issues getting home and I cant do much with DD around. But house is still looking ok.
We have had an issue with a fox getting into our house through the catflap! & last night despite DD sleeping from 11pm to 3.30am (amazing and the first time she's done it) I was awake on hyper alert thinking I could hear it downstairs . It wasnt as we've been blocking the catflap overnight. So sleepy this morning. Also just as we were snuggling up for morning cuddles with DD in bed we realised there was a nappy situation which had gone all over our sheet, the duvet cover and one of her cloth book toys. Yuck! So the washing machine will be on again shortly!
Hugs to all who need them!
Bob
P.S ebaying going well. 4 items gone in the last week giving us £50 extra in the kitty. Have a pair of trainers (I found) on for a starting bid of £18 ending tonight with several watchers so fingers crossed." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Morning ladies.
Great news CY, really pleased to hear that! Now, get rested for the wedding x
I had a mixed day yesterday which involved fishing a builder's measuring tape out of the toilet, clearing a hot spot of immense age, finding mushrooms growing through the floor in the lobby and making pickled eggs for my savages. Life is never dull here!
DH has requested my catering services at his work tomorrow for a trade day, which would normally be OK, but I've got a hair appointment that I'll have to cancel now.
Catch up later x0 -
Morning everyone
Good news CY, hope those tumours keep shrinking.
Beef casserole in sc for tea, kitchen swished and swiped, one load of washing out even though weather doesnt look promising.
I am on a course all day in York but it hopefully wont be too late finishing. Not really looking forward to it, last time I did one of these I was sitting with two really serious types who made me feel a bit dim.
But first I have to get the teenagers up and off to school and work. Have a good Tuesday everyone x0 -
Morning!
Nice to "see" you JJ X
Pleased the zappy things are doing their job, CY X
Gentle day here today! Meeting mum for coffee - both child free! Her two youngest "fosterees" have both been accepted at the same nursery, for the same sessions :T much better for all concerned - poor little lads spent half their time in car seats while eldest was ferried to school and various appointments.
Then I need to pop to sp0rts direct for something for DS school trip next week.
Also need to email the electrician re adding something into his quote. And the plumber didn't call me back. IF I don't hear from him by Thursday I'll call the kitchen place to sort it.
Will try get the general detritus from LR sorted before the school run. I seem to spend the first part of each day picking up random carp... (Guess that's all of us then?)
Right, will go check the list and then get dressed!Bossymoo

Morning all and  to juliejim.
Meant to say congrats to your DS on being offered money to do what he enjoys most, mrs-mp.
Bossyto childfree coffee
I've been getting on with my report writing since 6.00 am, but I need one of our group to send me some photos before I can write up what I think turned out to be the most important activity of the week.
So my list for today is:
- Shower and dress
- S&S bathroom
- S&S kitchen (I cleaned it thoroughly yesterday, including steam mopping the floor, but DH never leaves it tidy after preparing breakfast)
- post a letter
- SW weigh-in (not looking forward to this)
- transfer my Cash ISA to fixed rate, as the good deal on a variable rate ISA that I got in April has crashed with a huge drop that I can't afford to ignore - all thanks to the EU debate
- more report writing (it's turning into a marathon, but an interesting one)
- lunch
- vol job all afternoon
- cook something for tea
- DH out this evening, playing with more model railways
- carry on report writing OR go out and deliver flags and leaflets
- QHI should clear the pile
Catch up later, folks - hope you all have a good day x0 -
