Just back in from work, raining on and off here. Got to water neighbour's greenhouse and nip shops.
Ds1 has been offered a gig at the local pub on Friday so really excited about that on his behalf, he's got so used to doing open kicks and featured slots he was quite taken back that someone was offering money for him to play.
Hugs to all who need/want one. Better nip shops and do the watering then I'll get tea prepped and make a start on flying.SPC~12 ot 124

Hello folks!
Congratulations to Pigpen and family.
Apologies for absence. I woke up last Tuesday with a temperature of 39+. And sadly that meant a whole week in hospital.
But I had some good news today - the CT scan showed shrinkage in all the tumours. It's not a cure, but it could've been so much worse.
And I get to finish chemo until.at least after the wedding. Which is 33 days ago!
And I promise I will be strictly sitting on the sofa this week.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
CY glad you have had some good news. X
I had a bit of a wobble today so sort out a good friend for a cuppa.
Date has been set for bringing DS1 & his stuff home.
Ds2 came home with an options booklet and his choices need to be in by tomorrow so I have emailed the head to ask for more time.
Ground floor vacuumed
All towels washed and dried in td due to heavy rain.0 -
Yay, welcome back CY! I'm so glad to hear that the chemo has had a positive effect. Now your job is to get strong and stay well so that you can enjoy the wedding to the full. No more temperature spikes, please!
I have done almost everything off my list today except deliver the leaflets. Instead I stayed at home this evening because my friend said that she would ring back - but she hasn't. Not a problem. I've got on with downloading photos and typing up my report. It isn't finished yet, but it's coming on well. Tomorrow I will go to weigh-in at SW and then come straight home, which will give me an extra 1.5 hours before I go out to my vol job. Also the U3A Family History Group has been cancelled this week, so that's two more hours for me to get on with my long list of jobs. The leaflets aren't urgent, just so long as they are delivered by Friday evening.0 -
No flying today, unless you count FBO and I talking non-stop round QE2 Olympic park in between dodging rain, finding cake shops and getting lost.
But just finished a report.
Good news CYRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Evening all
Mrs MP - Yay for your son!!!:j:T
Valli - we would have tried that but the actual bit that you'd thread the keyring on to had snapped off. I have no idea how it happened, I suspect messing around in school pulling on keyrings she had attached to it has strained it to the point of breaking. The sports bag is now replaced with an all black version of this rucksack which came with a lunch box, drinks bottle & "fruit bag" and she's decided she might take salad for lunch tomorrow  :j RRP £29.99, £15 in SD :money: Added bonus is it came in handy when it turns out I didn't take enough bags out with me to get the groceries from Mr A :rotfl:
CY- :j Glad to hear the chemo has has a positive effect.
So today has been productive. Managed to do everything I wanted to do errand wise except Wi1k0s and Mr Al but that was because I was too tired to be dealing with how busy it was and I've only just remembered about Wi1k0s. We managed to get all the cards, and DD got a gift for her friend as well as her dad a gift for fathers day.I'm glad I buy in batches from the ca7d wareh0use as it makes me realise how much we're spending on stuff, just short of £18 today then had to go to C1int0ns as DD couldn't find a card she liked for her friend and we spent another £5 in there! On the plus side, friends stuff comes out of her pocket money so the £20 I owe her has dwindled quite a bit today.
Tomorrow I have to work all day. I have over £200 worth of returns to put on the system!I was supposed to be going out with friends, but todays errands took longer than I thought so I'm going to have to cancel
I'd do the work now but I'm so tired I know I'd make mistakes. Better to start of fresh tomorrow after a nice refreshing wake up shower
