Fraud on credit score??

Hi,

I've signed up to clearscore to access my credit score and my partner has tried to do the same. When he got to the part where they question you about your credit history (e.g. you took a loan out in 2009, who was it with?) all of his questions were about mortgages but he has never taken out a mortgage! We tried clicking the buttons that said 'no' but it said it could not give him access to his creditscore as the answers were incorrect. Could this mean that there is fraud on his account?
He has had this before where an ex-girlfriend who was staying with him were he was living years ago took out payday loans in his name and phone contracts and then took the money and phones all without his knowledge (he admits he was never very careful at checking what money he had back then) and now that we are registered where we are living and our name is on the tenancy (first time for both of us) a few debt collection agencies have been in touch to claim back money from phone companies and pay day loans and because it was in his name they said he has to pay and as they date back to 2011 there is no way we can prove it was fraud. Now we are worried that the same may have happened with a mortgage but we are too worried to investigate too much further incase he then gets a call from someone else demanding thousands back!

Is there any way to find out what is on his credit score without answering all those questions on the website and find out if someone may have applied for a mortgage in his name (i feel this may be unlikely because they would just reclaim the house but we are just really worried about it as we are struggling as it is)

Re the Clearscore maybe maybe not the issue is related to mortgages, you would be better off getting a report from the other 2 agencies, will provide a clearer picture.

Did he contact the phone companies, pay day loan Co's re the fraud that happened ?

Try signing up to Noddle first, this will give you the Call Credit report. They verify you with a debit card and although you still have to answer questions there are normally not as many as Clearsccore.
When retrying the Clearscore access, have Noddle report open in front of you to support some of the answers.
