Usual header etc above but not in the photo for obvious reasons. Dated in March.0 -
Well it's been almost a year now since they last tried to threaten me to pay up. I suspect they've given up. Are BW still pursuing people?0
-
Yes, but we still win 99% of defended cases on here!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Still nothing from BW Legal. I can only imagine that they've given up on me.0

Or they will resurrect at 5 years 6 months...0

Well nothing heard since May 2017... until today! Had a letter in the post from BWL, "Letter of Claim"
They have been instructed by Excel to recover £154 blahblahblah if I don't pay or respond by 30 November they will issue a county court claim.
Before I respond to them, basically with my previous letter;
Has anything changed in terms of the relevant case law etc?
Why are they now pursuing it again? Is it because something has changed as above?
Any further advice on anything to say which wasn't being used back in 2016/2017 when I was last playing letter tennis with them?
Interestingly in their "Particulars of Debt" they say "on xxdate you were granted a limited contractual licence to enter land blahblahblah...." which is odd as I am just the registered keeper of the vehicle! I wonder on what grounds they are suggesting that I in particular was granted such a licence?0 -
Same as you were advised then
Excel are dredging the dodgy bucket again.
So, they are back with BWLegal ... oh well ???
"on xxdate you were granted a limited contractual licence to enter land blahblahblah"
Is this now the latest wheeze ?
So you have an LBA which you must respond to.
This letter must comply with the new protocol, that's 100% proof of their claim, their claimed costs etc. How the £154 is calculated
DOES IT ??
There is the case of them adding fake debt collector charges and calling them admin or contractual ???
They now try to hide these fake charges but back in time to you, they had other excuses and whilst there may have a big rush of late to change the signs to include in tiny letters ... "contractual charge", the signs in your case can only refer to when you got the ticket0 -
As expected, we did warn you. Not that it's a big deal!
Start reading other BW Legal threads as they are all the same, and you will find decent replies to the LBC and defence examples that will likely win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What sort of update are you expecting?
The OP only received a Letter of Claim earlier this month.
The OP has thirty days, i.e. another week, before anything else will happen.0
