Hi, I'd like to join you if I may? Been visiting MSE for a long time but just started posting recently.
It is a gorgeous sunny morning here , and after a long wet summer this nice spell has been lovely.
Today I am going to ruthlessly sort through my summer clothes, things I have not worn for years but still keep - not this time !!!
In the afternoon I will do a bit of gardening and then I always do a bit of baking when cooking Sunday dinner.
Have a nice day !Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Morning All
I did some Rzl spotting as well last night, don't think I spotted her but enjoyed the music in between dh huffing and puffing because he wanted to watch Superman.
Plans for today are sorting out for the week ahead this morning. This afternoon DD has a birthday party to attend. I not sure if Grandma will be doing tea or not so I've got a Chicken in the slow cooker. It needs to be cooked anyway because my meal plan for the week hinges on it.
Mananged to get all my shopping and the present yesterday mainly because Tesco had some children musical keyboards reduced to £1.92.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Morning all,
Hope you're all doing ok.....welcome to any newbies and hugs to anyone that needs one or just want one as always!
Life here is quiet at the moment, DH is still asleep, DD is in her room watching the Disney Channel...and I'm here debating whether I want to make a brew or not....
Plans for today:
DH wants to go to the allotment, I may send him and DD off thos morning and try and blitz the house while they're gone.....I really need to get a handle on it, it's not dirty just untidy and it's getting me down!
Breakfast: May be cereal or sausage sandwiches haven't decided yet....
Lunch: Something quick and easy
Dinner: Not sure yet, may make a quick trip to the supermarket and see what they've got on special/reduced....
Have a good day all...I'll catch up with you all later.

Morning all,
I think it's been a while since I was around. RL and all that stuff getting in the wayI've missed you all and hope everyone is well? Hi Plumduff55 and welcome
It looks like its going to be a sunny day today, so I'll shove a wash in the machine, blow at the dust on the furniture and take off for a really long walk up to a wildlife centre I keep meaning to visit, maybe finding a nice pub for a late lunch on the way home.
I never really did get the hang of the flylady stuff did I
The coots have grown up - 3rd brood that is  Currently have mad moorhen twins and teenage ducks in the iris boxes. Jaws appears to have moved into the area and has scared everything smaller than a goose away from the water.
Right, time to nosh some of pen pen's lovely muffins with another cup of coffee before I head out.
(((hugs))))My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

:T This site has got me used to the internet, I was terrified of computers before- so thankyou all.
Hope all is well with everyone (((((( hugs))))))) to all. Its grey as usual here but I'm quite excited as I start teaching my new Sunday School class this morning. Theres only 4, but 3 are regular attenders- they are aged 5-7 yrs old. I love teaching them, my own are teens now and sooo worldly wise.
Its roast pork for lunch with yorkies, roasties, carrots and green beans and dog walking this afternoon- not very exciting for my 18th wedding anniversary but I start a new job tomorrow, so I want to have a quiet day and save my energy.
Love to all, especially those who are not well DeeDee xxxxxx:happyhearearn what you can, save what you can, give what you can :hello:0 -
Morning All
Welcome Plumduff55 & long time no see Racy
Had a lazy start here today but thats ok as its Sunday, DS footie game was cancelled and this was my last chance to have a small Sunday lie in.
Have only emptied dw & cleaned kitchen. Have got a nice day to look forward to - off to London to see my Nan- cant stay too long, her hearing aid never seems to work and its hard work shouting all the time. Then heading back towards home stopping at Bas Vegas (Basildon fesitval leisure park) to have a lunch and then watch Run Fatboy Run - hope its as funny as it looks need cheering up.
Just about to take out some pork and apple burgers from the freezer to have for tea tonight. They are lovely.
Did well with the ironing yesterday but need to finish it today. Also need to skim fat off the stock I made yesterday and put that in the freezer.
Think thats about it for now.
Have a good one.x

Good morning everyone

Happy anniversary to DPDeirdre
Welcome to all the newbies! :hello:
shez and cat I'm pretty sure I saw BargainRZL. She was wearing what looked like a lavender-coloured stole around her shoulders for most of the night but took it off towards the end. (omg, I sound like a stalker, don't I?) If you looked out at the audience from the orchestra, she was just to the right of the conductor.
shez those exhibitions sound very interesting. I wonder if they will be "touring" around the country?
racy nice to see you posting again. Many people have noticed your absence.
kyle (((hugs))) to you. Hope you feel better soon. DD had slapped cheek shortly after she started nursery. It must affect adults more severely than children as she wasn't too under the weather - she just looked as though someone had slapped her face.
We have a lovely morning here so I'm going to walk to church and then come back and do lots of batch cooking. I will try and get the kitchen floor cleaned after that as it is sorely needing it.
Found the presser foot for the sewing machine yesterday so I may attempt some sewing too. I will keep the phone nearby just in case I sew my fingers into the machine.
Frogga's challenge is going well - had a good day yesterday. Drank loads of water so I also got loads of exercise walking up and down the North Face of the Eiger that is my staircase to go to the loo.Hope everyone else is doing well too. :T :T
Off to have a boiled egg with wholemeal toast for brekkie. Have a super Sunday everyone. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
