  • Morning Guys!

Been up since 5am. Cant seem to get warm, so I have put the heating on higher for a bit. Already have pj's, socks and a cardigan on:confused:

DD & OH are still in bed.

Washing is up to date, DW is empty and the toilet has been scrubbed. DD is tidying her room today as she has a few clothes and books to put away.

I have a young lady coming at 10.30 this morning for an interview to help me for a few hours each week. Basically ironing and then some odd jobs that I cant do myself. She seems ever so pleasant, but will wait to meet her, then if suitable, she has offered to start tomorrow.

I have 3 appointments this week which is unfair as its my birthday tomorrow and would love a week off. Am being taken out Friday evening by freinds, then hopefully attending a leaving meal/party on Saturday for 2 of my best mates whom are moving abroad.

Dinner today is: Roast Chicken/Stuffing, Roasties, Yorkies, Parsnips, Runner Beans, Cabbage & Carrots......yum yum. Will make enough for an extra plate for my lunch tomorrow and may make a soup from the bones and giblets:confused:

Anyway, my tummy is rumbling and I need a brew and some toast.

    Hugs to all.

    PP

    good morning everyone

Odds-n-sods - I qualified as a chef when i was 18 -18 years ago.... Never really ended up doing it for a job - just love cookng for family n friends. Yet i think there is nothing nicer than a meal cooked by someone else:j - my favourite meal is egg n soldiers done by hubby :D mmmmmmm

Hubby has left for work..he is on duty from 9am until 9am tommorrow morning - so i only have myself to sort out today.... day of leisure -here i come:D

think i will sit and flick through some cookery books/mags - see if i can find some other meals to add to the weekly planners....supposed to be shopping tommorrow, but think i can get away without going this week...determined to come in under budget on Dbelles shopping challenge;) ...

Hope everyone on Froggas challenge is doing well:j

    have a great day everyone:D

    Morning all,

Bit early for me but could not sleep  .

We are off to an old fashioned ploughing show today, in a small village near here, lots of little stalls etc, should be good, dd was coming but has decided to go and help her dad again, he has an exhibition at his work and she helped him out yesterday, so its just me and the oh, quite nice for a change.

Have a huge joint of beef in the fridge, but may cook that tomorrow seeing as we will be out for most of the day, and I would like to be home whilst its cooking to baste etc.
Oh just got up and is making me more tea :D
    Hugs to all

    Sue

MEANMARIE~ my dogs a boy just turned 1. He’s a Border collie short hair (you wouldn’t think so the amount of tumbleweeds he creates:eek: ). He’s been a godsend for me while I’ve been off work, on the sick. Great company and he forces me to take him for a walk every day. I feel for you losing your dog. I’d be lost without my little lad.
When I broached the subject of getting a dog with OH I said can we get a DOG? OH said NO! so I said can we have a BABY ? OH said we’ll get a DOG!!! (Reverse psycology~ works a treat:cool: )
Yes we do metamorphose into our parents, I turned into my Mum years ago!

Morning All! (Isnt it Sunday?? title says sat??)

Lovely start to the day.......just had to get rid of a great big spider!!! arent they supposed to be outdoors webbing??:rotfl:

Did anyone spot Bargainrzl last nite? I had a quick look and Im not sure if I saw her briefly!

Was looking at buying some tickets for the Terracotta Army Exhibition at the British Museum - looks like theres only evening times left!! Also pre-registered to get tickets for the Tutankhamun Exhibition coming to the O2 soon! I do like to see these things but I would rather see them in their original places:o Also noticed they are having an Ice Disco at the O2 this year, looks fun! They seem to have so much going on at the O2 now that surely Earls Court must be suffering??

Nothing much planned for today, just go with the flow sunday!!

Time for another cuppa! - Enjoy your day everyone:D
