  • Hi, just a word of warning, don't just check your vodafone bills. Vodafone have been taking a separate direct debit from my account for 4 months. It has taken 4 months of complaints, numerous phone calls and letters and they have continued to take money which they are not entitled to. My bill has only shown one transaction each month. It is only this week that they have finally refunded the money that they owe me. I am still waiting on compensation being agreed as I have rejected their first offer.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and have been having a nightmare with Vodafone. I've been overcharged since December 2015. I called to advise I was leaving as I had found a great sim only deal with bt. I got the usual transfer to retention team and rep said they would match bts deal to keep me as a customer. After checking my bills it transpires they didn't do this and continued to over charge me. I called them in May to challenge and was transferred to a South African call centre and the rep advised I would be refunded over £100 in 7 days. 2 weeks passed still no refund to my bank account. I called again was transferred through to South African call centre and was advised I would have to wait another 7 days. I refused as 2 weeks had already passed. After being kept on hold for 20 minutes as they spoke with managers I was told the money would be in my account the following day. The money never got credited. I called again got transferred through to South African call centre and was told my refund was pending ? I asked to speak to a manager higher than the rep who advised they couldn't understand why I had not been refunded and someone would call me to lodge my complaint. A month has passed, I have still not had a phone call or the money back which is owed to me. I have registered the complaint with resolver which is now nearly 2 weeks old and have still heard nothing. I would like money owing to me. Can anyone help with the next steps as I no longer want to be a Vodafone customer either

Yes. Follow the instructions on the main complaints thread to contact the WRT.

We've had business accounts with Vodafone for years, spending thousands as they were the only company to offer a One Net Express service, or a landline attached to a mobile. We recently signed in for another 12 months and they put all but the main phone up in prive. Have managed to move them to EE and have a Pocket Landline but had to pay £900 to get the main phone off them. Gutted really, up until this point they had been really good, customer service was good, etc.
  • Finally got my billing issues sorted via Resolver. I was credited the money I was owed. Vodafone did not respond within the first 8 weeks so I escalated. Within 48 hous someone from the complaints team made contact and everything was sorted. I won't close the case until I see the next bill which is in 1 week.

    Thank you Resolver :T
  • I'm a long time customer of Vodafone never had problem until now . my contact was up for renewal a couple of months ago, found I was still being charged for the full amount of having a handset even though it's now out of its 24 month contract. Can they do this ? I phoned them they said I'm now on a rolling contract have to pay unit I find a new contract?
  • The only incorrect part is that you can give 30 days' notice to terminate. Whether you get a new contract is entirely up to you. Everything else is perfectly correct. Of course they "can do it". Your contract was for a minimum term, not a fixed period.
  • So my wife has a promotional SIM only deal....unlimited mins.texts and 20GB of data for 20 quid a month. And a entertInment bundle of Spotify premium.

    Excellent deal.

This was taken out in March this year and have had no problems so far, so this month a charge appears of 6.50..

After a lot of chasing and asking, it appears this is for delivery costs of the SIM delivered in March !!!!

And NO they are not refunding it !!!

I have no words to express how this makes me feel !!!!
