The fact that they are having their post delivered elsewhere (to a home they've been kicked out of no less) makes no sense and suggests (even if it's not the case) that they, or you, are trying to hide something.

If this has all been okay'd with your landlord, why are they doing this?

AFAIK, what the OP is proposing is not illegal. However, having their post delivered to their old a address seems a little strange.

Also I would set down some ground rules and also a time limit where they must make concerted effort to find somewhere else to live.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

I will eventually make them a "lodger" which is also perfectly legal.

I do eventually want something but for the time being im doing a massive favour for all my house hold chores to be completed.

I am a paranoid person and having all their doctors / schools registered to my place would just give us to much hassle from the LA / HA

The place they got kicked out of for not paying is a wierd one as they knew that landlord for over 10 years and was friends before landlord so he has compromised with them over this but at the same time needs a paying family.

I didnt think i needed to explain all of this so deeply.....

Its like im treated like a criminal... what the hell.

Why would it? It is really that issue that makes it all looks very odd. Is it that they intend to get one of their kids in a school they couldn't get into using your address?

The reality is that they will be lying about their residence, and normally, people lie when they are trying to get something they wouldn't be able to if they were not lying.

I dont care if you think im talking "Broken Biscuits"

I dont trust the authorities at all, if they think they can get rid of me to please another one of their 30,000 waiting list people they will.

Serve me a notice to quit on a poxy "whim" because i have others living with me.

Ive told HA, Ive told council for council tax purposes.

They cant prove im subletting the whole property, i still have my appliances / clothes here etc....all my work / drs / phone bills / banks are in my name at that address, my car will be seen in and about the street.... i cant see the problem here!!!!

Why is everyone being so f'ing shirty with me on here?

    Why are your backs up???

Even if i was (Which im not) subletting the whole property why do u care anyway? get on with ur lives and stop being so "Grassy" and up your own asses... It aint effecting your life anyway. get over it!

My back isn't up at all, you are obviously trying to do a good deed.

There does seem to be an oddity or two in your statements though. You say that you've had it okay'd, yet you think they are going to try and kick you out on whim?

If they register as living at your house it will give you "hassle", yet they are allowed to be living there so it makes no sense.

Do as you please, but all I (and others) are saying is that the way you are going about it makes it look as though either you (or they) are trying to hide something. As that's not the case, it may be worth taking some steps to make it appear as transparent as it is.
