in Credit cards
A company I've been struggling to get a refund for a faulty product from claim that the refund went through yesterday.
When I check online nothing is showing yet, so just wondering how long this normally takes?

Depends, but it's probably a bit early to worry yet, give it a couple more days first.0

Thanks. I know it's a bit early, but I've been having lots of problems with this company - e.g. they said they approved the request 2 weeks ago, and when I chased yesterday said that it had only been actioned then. They've also made a series of other promises in terms of replacing the faulty product which have not materialised0

If they processed it yesterday, I would expect it showing by Friday at the earliest. If it does not show up by Friday then as long as you are not out of time, get the credit card company to do a chargeback, using the evidence you have to confirm the details.0 -
As a rule of thumb refunds usually take a day longer than purchases to appear. Your problem however appears to be with the retailer not actioning the refund promptly.0

Thanks all. Refund showing this morning. Though I haven't be refunded the return postage costs for the faulty item (as agreed with the retailer) however, so I will have to go back to the retailer again :mad:0

Finally got the postage refunded direct to my bank account after threatening legal action (again). Company is QP Jewellers - AVOID THEM - Terrible customer service0
