TSB banking problems

If you believe it's theft Dave why don't you go to the police. Let us know how that goes.0

I was hoping that I could get some practical advise, it's worth remembering that I have done nothing wrong. It would appear that resolution is a liquid process, they might unfreeze the account next week, next month, next year or as the woman has already warned me, they may just decide to keep all my money.
Now clearly if this happened to you, you'd be quite happy, I suppose you are the sort of person who enjoys being left destitute, and enjoys being humiliated, so I suggest you move your account to TSB."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Whilst I can see why you are angry and upset, speaking calmly and rationally to the bank and complying, as far as you possibly can, with any requests is the only way you are going to get any sort of resolution here.0

Also meant to say, going by the threads on here, most if not all banks are tightening up on anything they see as suspicious. Sounds like your £20 possibly came from a hacked account which may have set alarm bells ringing.0

Brooker Dave there is a saying :- Never have all your eggs in one basket.
Basically have a few accounts and have money in each of them, I know if my main account was indeed frozen I would be at the bank like a shot with any information they request from me, I also would like to add the fact that if someone had tried to take money from your account thus turning the situation around and the bank just allowed this I bet you would create just as much.
The moral of the story here is we can not have it all our own way Dave and the banks need to be seen to applying action in any case that they believe is suspected fraud otherwise people will not be happy.0 -
TSB will not keep the money. If you provide the information that they've requested they will unfreeze it. If you don't and they remain unconvinced that the funds are legitimate then they will take police advice which would probably involve transferring the funds to an account controlled by the government.
TSB have not stolen your money and have no intention of keeping it.
I find it hard to believe that this has happened just over a £20 transfer and I'm always struggling to believe that your business has failed because less that £20k has been frozen.0 -

The bank in my villiage got robbed 2 weeks ago, someone got shot in the face, the police took 25 minutes to arrive, and the ones who showed up were community support officers.
In fact the ambulance arrived first.
I've long given up reporting crimes, there's simply no point."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

That's what the woman said.
I am also not allowed to talk direct to the department involved.I find it hard to believe that this has happened just over a £20 transfer and I'm always struggling to believe that your business has failed because less that £20k has been frozen.
How do I pay anyone?
Perhaps you have multiple accounts stuffed full, I just had the one, now its all gone.
Next time I call them, I'll record it and upload it to youtube, then you can hear the sorry saga for yourself."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Practical advice: Give the bank the info/evidence they have asked for. Have you done this yet?0
