I am trying to find an official download source for a Win 10 /64 professional ISO
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 only allows a HOME or N edition to be downloaded "for another PC"
The problem is that, around 6 months ago, I installed a "never upgrade this PC" addon and now, can't remove it and it blocks Win 10 from ever installing/upgrading
So I now want a normal ISO image in order to get Win 10 TEMPORARILY installed - just to give me future options !!
It will be removed again straight away (back to Win 7 64 Pro)

Which specific "never upgrade" utility did you install?
There will almost certainly be an uninstall utility/method.0 -

That's the problem - I don't know which one I used !!
I have, obviously checked my list of programs and nothing appears on it
I have installed all of the necessary update files manually and the PC downloads Win 10 but errors on installing it ...0 -
No need to go through all of that palaver to 'reserve' your installation of Windows 10.
But if you really want to do it that way, click here0 -

What other method is there then ?0 -
All the two well-known utilities, GWX Control Panel, and Never10 do is to set a couple of registry values to prevent the Microsoft GWX 'feature' from running. See Never10's Technical Details.
The simplest way out would probably to be to run Never10 to undo its actions. Then try to run WIndows Update again.
However, if you have done other things, there is no guarantee that Windows update will do the 'update' you wish.0 -
GWX control panel rings a very big bell - how do I uninstall this ?
As I said - it doesn't appear in my program list
I guess that I will need to download it and run it again ?0 -
