Thanks both. It was a shock. Goodness knows what I would have thought if i hadnt been clearinging a while.:rotfl:
Before i trotted off I was in a bad mood because I didn't want to go. I wanted to stay and declutter for the week. Anyway when I walked into the caravan it got worse. The thing is about caravans they are almost empty apart from the bare essentials. Cue me thinking about the amount of unneeded stuff back home. Things which I felt I needed to keep before I now want rid of.:j
That said the holiday was good. I even had a snack in Sids cafe in Holmfirth. Cue me becoming Nora Batty.;) sad I know but I was excited.
Anyway today I need to buy a new washing line. Mine went with the tree. Then finishing off the washing and PUTTING IT AWAY. Then the big caravan style Christmas declutter continues.
Have a fab day all. Back later. X1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Welcome back! Love the Sid's Caf! visit - I hope you had the Nora Batty stockings?
Coming home can be a bit of a fresh view on things - but what you won't have seen (because it's not there to be seen) is all the stuff you've already decluttered. You have made great progress, and you'll continue to do so.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I must say I walked into my house and thought "of my f#@&ing hell". Excuse the language. I will be back with a better update later with mad thoughts and pondering.

Oh you hit some nerves here with this PH, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry :rotfl:
The number of times this has happened to me are beyond counting, but the big difference between you and me is you are actually DOING something about it, whilst I'm still sitting here procrastinating
Glad you enjoyed your holiday, and I'm with you in thought as you continue to sort out your clutter XI Believe.....

Being short I always end up with Nora's stockings.:rotfl:
Too true. It could have been worse and it has been many, many times. :rotfl:Oh you hit some nerves here with this PH, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry :rotfl:

Good luck with the de-cluttering. Christmas is a good incentive. Just remember to chunk each task down so you don't get overwhelmedFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

You are doing great on the decluttering. I need to copy you!If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks crystal. I had a VERY lot to do when I started and still have a very long way to go. Certain rooms aren't far off from sorted but some rooms are . I'm not convinced it will ever be done to be honest.HairyHandofDartmoor wrote: »Good luck with the de-cluttering. Christmas is a good incentive. Thanks hairy. I'm try to chunk but do tend to flit from one place to another. I would love to be organised enough to do it properly.doingitanyway wrote: »You are doing great on the decluttering. I need to copy you!
Thanks DIA. I need to copy your decluttering with the weight. You're doing so well.
Well day one is done and I have made some progress. The washing is nearly done and dusted. I have a little left to dry. It the dry stuff has been put away. It's a miracle. :j I have also started a bag for the charity shop. I know should sell some of it really but the time versus the money which I would earn wouldnt really be worth it. Plus the local hospice will be able to use any money made wisely.
I have also thrown away one bin bag of rubbish, some of which being the plastic off the new mattress which I brought weeks ago.:o I don't understand why I didn't do it at the time. Anyway it's gone now.
I also managed to move the branches of tree from my grass which the tree man had left in the neighbours garden which I had to go and move before the holiday. Very embarrassing indeed. They were ok about it but it wasn't good enough.
I was would like to spend the whole of today carrying on but I'm taking DS to the circus later. I have got some stuff done this morning and will keep on while I'm at home today. I need to vacuum upstairs especially as my bedroom is now tidy and I want it to look lovely but need to accept I can only do what I can.
I hope you all have a fab day and will be catching up on diaries later.:j1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%
