A one on one VIP appointment for a sub £400 gogglebox ?! What is the world coming to

    Customer service .
I would be more inclined to push somebody with 10K in their kitbag to Richer Sounds if i know they look after the small guys .

hmmm , i am dubious you will be well received regardless when your looking to spend such a small amount
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

As per the OP it wont be me that will be well received as i am not the buyer .
At least the Richer Sounds people are giving a positive response to the question.

Personally i have always found them one of the most helpful companies i have dealt with .
Nice friendly staff who don't seem to have a problem answering the most stupid questions .

Better let Mr Richer know that then
.Customer service only for the big sales according to the MSE experts .

I learnt my customer service lesson a long long time ago .
Sold an old banger to a young lad .His farther brought it and him back a week later saying it was not suitable . Are a bit of round the houses i agreed to swap it for a mini traveller . Total waste of my time really .
Behold and low the Father came in three months later and asked for me ended up buying a new car every 18 months or so and all his firms vans .Said i had looked after his son so well and that was the reason he came back .

Not "customer service", EXTRA customer service. For a start, the advertised discounts on "selected" models won't be sub £400. A "VIP" out-of-hours appointment isn't to make a budget sale...

They actually welcome all sales, for the analogy JJ gave above. They are quite simply superb.

Of course every sale is important and valued. My point is that this "VIP" initiative will be to encourage people to spend more, not buy budget items.
I doubt the salesperson required to work after hours will be keen to sell a £400 telly because his commission will be minimal. £400 cheapies can be picked up with the groceries at Tesco or Asda.

Totally get what you mean, and I agree with you to an extent, but they do get paid for the extra hours opening times (because I asked them). And neither you nor I would recommend AV purchases via Tesco or Asda. No no no.... :)

...have to disagree a LITTLE; there are some pretty good sets now available for sub £400 provided that you deon't want a huge screen eg http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/lg/49-inch-smart-tv/lg-49lf590v:)
