I'm still missing August and september but the rest is back and the live feed is up.0
-
My two green lights have now changed (back) to two amber ones.
Pinging live.myimmersun.com that was giving 77.68.24.20 (to which the Immersun unit will still be trying to connect) now gives 62.30.121.254 (not surprisingly exactly the same as pinnks get) so I guess the bridge can't really be expected to connect (though a bit of a puzzle as to why I saw 2 greens yesterday !).
Later today I'll change the Immersun unit's Cloud IPA to either all zeroes or if necessary 62.30.121.254 and see if reboots of Immersun & bridge achieves anything.
It's already (a little bit) later and I've reset Cloud IPA to all zeroes then rebooted both units. At the moment the master unit has decide to reload firmware so I can't actually check whether it's talking to bridge unit. Bridge unit is now showing green on left, amber on right.
Even Later
All zeroes didn't do a lot for me but setting Cloud IPA to 62.30.121.254 has got two green lights up on bridge unit and it's showing current figures OK. Still no history since a Aug but hopefully in a few hours time . . .NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
I'm missing a few bits here and there but most of my data is now back
FYI I'm set to server address 000.000.000.000 live.myimmersun.com isn't pingable but is working so i'm guessing they've secured it a bit.0 -

.
All my data - apart from 2 hours on the 9th Sept when I was probably downloading the revised opsys - is now completely up to date and the display has been reading normally since the download.
Just in case anyone from 'New Immersun' is reading this : I'd still be much happier with being able to communicate directly between my computer and the MyImmersun bridge. The instantaneous display and the one-hourly history records are all very well but what I'd really really like to do is to show a graphical display of what the system was doing at (say) one minute intervals.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
I would echo that. I would also quite like to have the website on my local machine as an option. I have a private cloud, so it would be easy but even if it was just PC/Mac/Linux based it would work fine as the immerSUN retains its data internally anyway.
On a separate issue, how are folk finding stability? I quite often see the right light burning red for a while before it gets back to normal. Maybe 10 times a day for a few minutes...0 -
Hiya guys. I saw this and thought it might be of interest to you.
4eco finds buyer with plans to take the immerSUN international4eoc's immerSUN diverts surplus power from renewable generators to a designated load, normally a hot water heater, to save energy and sold tens of thousands before the company entered insolvency earlier this year. Image: 4eco.
4eco has secured a buyer after entering insolvency back in July, with process controls manufacturer Amelec Instruments picking up the business for an undisclosed fee in an effort to enter the green energy sector.
Amelec has been established for around 40 years, producing control systems for power stations, particularly nuclear. It has joined with a second firm called Micro Technologies to form Sisem, which will take over the rights and intellectual property of the makers of immerSUN and get the product range back into production by the end of October.

Thanks Mart - interesting. Things do seem to be pretty much back to normal now, which is good.:T0

Thanks Martin for that update. As Pinks says it is now looking good.
A wider market would seem to be an excellent move.0 -
Not looking quite so good today !
