  • Hey PSL! I've just been catching up on your diary, you done great not giving into the Christmas temptation and being sucked in by the sales. You'll be glad this is the year of the loan going!! Being in the position of too many friends has to be better than not enough so just think of the positives, and free activities, especially being in London - just need to get others on-board. I used to be a terrible cook but the only thing I was known for being good at was home made pizza, you should give it a go. Like Ramblehan says it's easy and really tastes good, and I go into Dominos and get the dip as that's my favorite part of the pizza anyway! Or I really rate an Asda make your own pizza...and now I am craving pizza!! xxx

  • Hey PSL,

    Happy New Year!!!.

Oh my, that loan will be gone in no time.

It can be hard to stay positive sometimes when you feel things aren't going in the right direction but you are still here, still focused & that is brilliant.

You can do this my sweet!

  • Thank you Everyone for being so kind to me.
I am in the middle of a seriously busy spot. Feeling a bit frazzled but keeping next weekend 14th completely empty for me time which will help.
It's also a really hungry time of year. I just want to eat everything. I will try home made pizza but being mse I will eat the pizza bases in the fridge first. Trying to empty the freezer for a defrost.

All the soup I have made has been disappointing but does the job. I just boil or pan fry everything and then blend it together with a hand blender. Usually just veg and tomatoes. Not very inspiring. Then add rolls from Lidl for lunch.

83 days of loan today today. And 3 weeks to payday. Lots of things on the to-do list today so getting cracking. xxxx

Ooo we make loads of fresh soup. Use chicken or veg stock, 2 small potatoes, 2 onions, 2 stalks of celery - then whatever your base is e.g 4 leeks for leek and potato, 6 x broccoli plus a wedge of Stilton - simmer gently then blitz with a blender.

    You're doing great!
  • I need to start making soup rather than buying it.

Got a big soup pot in the cupboard so just need to get to it really.

  • 80 days of loan.
    Very tired.
    NSD.
Possibly first one of the year.

Yesterday spent £17.50 in Tesco which brings food spend so far to £57.50 which is a bit more than expected but it does include a few stocks for the cupboard, juice, cheese, breads, oil.
quite overdrawn at the moment but potentially no big spends till payday. A few outings but nothing too intense. Trying to hold on but no loan payment, council tax or parent payment this month which will all help plus short month February. Trying hard.

  • If it was easy we would all have done it a long time ago my sweet.

Its hard to get out of the red as we call it when you have lived in it for so long, trust me I am exactly the same.

My whole adult life I have been in debt, not even a joke.
