  • Well done my lovely PSL.

Some people may not get it but I do, it is something to be super proud of.

Plus you will appreciate it more next year.

Awww thanks Dolly. I am not very good at this whole money management business.
I am going to get there but my goodness it is tough.

    Potentially 4 months time
    1. small pay rise,
    2. stop paying back parents,
    3. loan gone
    4. another bill £30/month ends in July/sooner if I pay early.

Increased money iro £330/month. So not completely hopelsss, just a bit bleak right
    Now.

Yesterday £140 spent on Christmas. Need to wrap today.
Spent £25 on cds, books, DVD in oxfam too
    And £16 in sainsbury

A minor thing I am pleased with, I nearly bought a book last week. £9 from train station, had it in hands but decided against. This week same book in Oxfam £1. Plus another book I've had my eye on as well. I am hoping they will get deliveries of all unwanted Christmas presents books so I can make 2017 much more of a reading year.

    Plus eat more healthily
    Finally get weight down
    Clear some debts
    Spend less on clothes
    Cook more
    Less takeaways
    Remember bring lunch to work
    Budget and stick to it
    Pass exams
    Keep flat tidy
    Text people back
    Drink less
See my family and friends more
    Get new job
    Decorate bedroom including new carpet
    Go swimming
Save all 50ps throughout the year and spend in January 2018.
    Go to cinema more

    Not an exhaustive list.
2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

Hey PSL. Did you have a good Christmas? Well done on resisting the Harrods shop!
My new year resolution is to get fit, and master better budget management - particularly food spends. I'm ashamed to say we are sometimes £100-150 over what we should spend and we really can't afford that. Fitness wise, I am going to do the Radio 1, couch to 5K app for getting me a bit fitter. Going to start when we move as will have a big field to run around nearby.
You have a huge list of things you want to do - how about just picking your top 5?!

I know Ramble. I am so excited about the new year. Christmas was good but also quite stressful!

Been to Lidl spent £6.91. Potatoes, parsnip, bread, crumpets, butter, milk, crisps, tomatoes, cucumber. That's includes lunchx3 sorted out for this week.

Glad you had a nice Christmas but I agree it can be a stressful time.

Thanks Dolly. I am beyond excited about 2017. It is our year (and I think Rambles too)

Loan is down to £1380. Very pleased with this. 93 days left.
Budgeted £60 for groceries and spent £6.91 leaving £53.09 left till pay day. I can do this if I put all of my organisational skills to use and work harder. With help from Lidl, Iceland And Tesco.

    nsd today. Very good.
3 days left to 2017. Then 26 to pay day.

    Dinner tonight defrosted spaghetti.

    Tommorow is pub
Friday hoping to be at home
Saturday nye hopefully low key/low spend
    Sunday low spend
    Monday low spend
    Tues-fri work
2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.
