  • TA a m&s body cream and bath gel from a set I got for Christmas, when I opened them, they smelt awful. My hair care stuff is now under control, all I have left is three natural shampoos, And a 1/4 bottle of LE shampoo.:j I use coconut oil on my ends and do a vinegar wash once a month so no need for hair treatment masks. No styling products needed now that I have invested in a hot brush/air dryer. I try to air dry my hair once a week instead of using the hot brush or hair dryer.

Just need to get all my other toiletries under control.:rotfl:

    A few UU's to report...

Creighton's Sunshine Blonde tone correcting shampoo - love this stuff, smells amazing, it's cheap and my hair seems to like it. WDBA but have others to use first.

Mades Recipes Spicy Sensation Body Butter - This is a brand I haven't seen before, from the Netherlands. The consistency of a body butter but in a wide necked tube, I really like both the thoughtful packaging, and the product itself was nice and rich and smelt lovely. WBA but have not seen in Superdrug since.

IN's - Aldi Crystal deodorant. I don't seem to collect deos, only replace them as I use them up so I probably won't keep on reporting them.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

    61) UU Elvive Clay shampoo - WBA.

    62) TA Clinique Flirty Honey lippie. This came in a set. It is brightly coloured in the tube, but totally invisible on the lips so I am never going to wear it.

Along Came Betty Say You Scrub Me Gentle Skin Exfoliator 200ml - I liked the scent of this scrub which is very sweet and peachy. I think this is Tesco's answer to Soap & Glory. This was a fairly effective scrub and it lasted me 2-3 months. I purchased it at half price (£2) and I personally don't think it is worth any more than that. What puts me off is that it contains SLS and I'm trying to avoid products with that ingredient, I also don't like the fact that the packaging isn't recyclable. WDNBA.

I've replaced this with a St Ives Apricot Body Scrub which has only a small amount of product remaining.

Not had much movement this week on the toiletries front as I've been off work all week with noro virus so it's been all dry shampoo and whatever else I could manage, never been so sick in my life. I'm at work ATM on a sleep in, my first shift this week that I've managed to get in for, but still struggling to eat much without getting pain after :( it was lovely to have a good shower today though, nothing worse than being too ill to care.

Anyway I do have a GA to report - the dove beauty finish deodorant. Really couldn't stand the smell of it anymore (and normally love dove products) so mum has taken it off my hands. I also discovered another new one the same in the cupboard so that will be going to her too tomorrow. She said she's not bothered what it smells like. I really can't stand it - kept catching the smell of it every so often when I moved and it was making me feel sick. So going to count them as 2 outs. And a definite WNBA. Provably do the job fine but the smell ruined it for me. :( I've replaced it with an Avon silk roll on.

I'm also waiting on some lush kitchen orders that were group orders but I will add those to my ins when they arrive.

Eta. All this talk is making me crave, and want to dig out, my original source raspberry & vanilla gel haha. I'm using up a b&bw one at the moment though and although I would probably choose a different scent next time I'm very impressed with the consistency and how easily it lathers up, it makes a ton of lovely soft bubbly lather.

Ooh and kadison I'm the same as your boyfriend only with lush shower gels, and now I have an urge to get mine out and arrange them in colour order. :D It's kind of a collecting thing for me, I don't need them, but I enjoy collecting all the different ones and the different smells. I don't buy the ones I'd hate the smell of or anything though, I'm not that obsessed, like there's a new ginger one in the lush kitchen next week which I won't be ordering as in not a huge fan of ginger (don't mind it but a bit meh about it in general.) avo shower on the other hand, I'm coveting!

I did buy a few bits in savers last weekend which I don't think I declared:

Batiste tropical coconut & exotic dry shampoo
Batiste ltd edition bloom orchid & pink freesia dry shampoo
    Colab Rio tropical dry shampoo
2 x Nivea passion fruit & milk proteins soaps
Vaseline sugared coated lip therapy tin
    2 x dove hair masks
3 x Montagne jeunesse face masks (can't remember exact ones)

    X 11 in

Gemzie - so sorry that you have been poorly, it really does take it out of you for quite a while, so be kind to yourself and try and eat gentle foods that will not cause your tummy to have to work too hard. Live "real" yogurt (not the pudding things) or some acidophillous sp? might help the good bacteria re-populate too.

Rest as much as you can and enjoy your nice products as you get stronger.

Gemzie - hope you feel better soon.

No uu's today and still only 1 well thought out in for June. I am going shopping today I think and wanted to get the foundation I wear for work in a darker colour for summer. I do have other darker foundations but I trust this particular one to look good all day and the others don't have the same lasting power.

Sorry to hear that WeAreGhosts and Gemzie have been under the weather. It's especially horrible when the weather is good and you should be enjoying yourself.

    2 UUS fir me today:-

L'Occitane Verbena shower gel full size. This was part of a TSV. I would probably not go out of my way to repurchase the full size as I have a few travel sizes to UU and may be fed up of this fragrance by then.

L'Occitane Uktra Rich moisturiser. This is lovely and I have a couple more of these 8ml tubs still in stash.

Sorted my bathroom out and have 4 items that may be UUed this week:-

    Benefit Sun Beam
    Clinique High Lengths mascara
    Philosophy Pure Grace fragrance sample
Mandara Spa body butter (hit pan).

Have pulled out a tube of Jack Wills Hooe Cove body scrub and lotion and a LUSH soap - I think it may be Karma soap.

Have pulled out my weekly make up basket. Have new Tarte pallette (gorgeous) and Smashbix Full Exposure palette out. For blush I have Benefit Coralista and NARS Decotour. Various lip colours to choose from. I think I'm going to try and pan at least one of the Smashbox shadows in my next seasonal challenge. Ladies we only have 10 days left x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
