Give it a try as a body wash, it might be ok. Otherwise maybe as a shave gel? Anything creamy tends to work ok for that. I'm using a hair balm I don't like as a shave gel at the moment :rotfl:

Shave gel is a great idea! Thanks!

    I have a uu

Umberto Giannini Curl Friends Shapely Curls Mousse - WBA, I really liked this, it didn't leave my curls crispy. I have replaced it with another UG mousse from the stash but this one is a volume one.

Managed a UU this morning before I went to work, finished off a body scrub in the shower. It was a body blitz one not very scrubby at all so glad it's gone.
Might have a few ga's soon but not su if they are all on my list. It's the school summer fete soon so going through my pressie stash and unopened body lotions to see if anything I can't/don't want to use can be donated.

Ok I have finally made a list of the items i want to UU! :rotfl:

I figured it was pointless saying "I'm in!" 3 months on the trot and then never actually reporting anything!

Now, I am not and most likely never will include 'essentials' in this list. Essentials for me are:

    Shampoo
    Conditioner
    A basic body wash
    A basic facial wash
    Toothpaste
    Deodorant.

At this point in time i have a 'full set', if you like, of cosmetics and toiletries so that i can go from just got out of bed to ready to go out the door for the most glamorous soiree. I only have 1 of each of a lot of things which are still sealed, but the upcoming list is duplicates i have that are opened and have varying amounts of product left and i want to use up so that i can go back to just having 1 of everything and then replace as needed(i know that is the whole idea of this but i just felt i had to explain! :rotfl: )

I won't be listing container sizes as my smallest product is 5ml, and the biggest is something like 400ml, and i won't write a post after each use of an item. I will, however, write a post if a product starts to feel empty, and when a product is UU(again - whole idea of this :rotfl: )

    So, here is my list:

Wilko skin therapy cotton pads - a few used from this pack. I have another sealed pack of Primark cotton pads which i will move on to next and a sealed pack of the big oval ones from Primark I will eventually be left with.
2x Simple eye makeup remover pads - a couple used from 1 pack and the other pack is sealed. Using for anything right now as eventually want rid of these as i have a bottle of remover in the stash i feel i will find easier to use.
Oh baby! cotton buds - only have about 8 or 10 left in this pack which i have been using for my ears( i know, naughty naughty!) and have another pack from Primark in the stash which i will use for anything(but ears if i can help it! :rotfl: )
Wilko functional face wipes - I find these literally the most useful item on the planet! I use these not just on my face, but even for wiping up a spill on a hard surface. I have 2 packs of Simple micellar wipes in the stash but i want to continue using Wilko ones while using up my unnecessary toiletries. I only have a few left in this packet so will repurchase when out and about on Saturday.
No. 7 soft and soothed toner - This is years old and only seems to get used as and when i remember it's existence! Only about a fifth of the product left so going to make a conscious effort to get it used up(this month ideally).
Simple purifying cleansing lotion - This was supposed to be part of my stash but i started using it with the Wilko cotton pads when i got up one morning and realised i had no face wipes left! So now it is on the list as i have a bottle of micellar water in the stash, the micellar wipes and some Simple face wash in the shower.
Nivea express hydration primer - definitely not a proper primer like you get from makeup brands. It is a massive amount of product for what you use on each application. Can see me binning this before it is used up as it's been open a while and only used it a handful of times.
FCUK for her - this is my signature scent right now. Ever since i opened it on new years i have, almost without fail, sprayed some on myself before leaving the house. There is still quite a lot left though. I have the lady gaga fragrance in the stash to move onto when this is finished.
Impulse vanilla kisses - this is just a back up spray if I'm just going somewhere quickly and just so happen to forget to use my FCUK.
Rimmel BB cream - bought 2 by accident, this one got opened first, so using this one as and when i fancy a bit of coverage if I've had a breakout etc. The other is in the stash, still sealed.
Avon colourtrend black eyeliner - mum passed this on to me without even opening it so I'm doing the honours of using it up. You know what they say about eye makeup though so this one may see the bin before i see it turn into a nub.
Avon supershock black mascara - same as above.
Ciate glitterball mini - I got this in a mystery deal from Groupon. It's still sealed, I'm just waiting for the remains of polish to grow out from my toenails. I don't have any polish remover as i get my fingernails shellac'd and normally leave my toenails well alone, but i bought some nice sandals for summer and this colour will look lovely on my toenails when i wear my sandals.
Gillette shave foam - this was actually bought for my partner but he doesn't like wet shaving so he gave it to me. I'm not fussed what i use when shaving but i do feel you pay a premium when buying shave items aimed at women.
Dove firming lotion - bought to go with the adidas shower gel further down the list but started using it now with my current dove shower creams as this lotion is double the size of any of the shower things.
2x Dove shower cream - these formed part of a set along with a poufe mum got but she doesn't use things like this so I'm using it all.
Adidas firming shower gel - this one will start getting used after the dove ones to go with the dove firming lotion then I'll just have 2 different branded and scented shower gels i can alternate between.
Carmex lip balm with SPF - bought this on a whim as i was shopping with friends and they were throwing all sorts into their baskets and i just followed suit :rotfl: my lips just do their own thing and no lip balm helps or hinders so i just want this gone.

  • fixx - that is a fantastic deal!

I would seriously consider it, only problem is I feel a lot of things in M&S are aimed at older people! Every time I've gone in there I've never seen anything I'd like!

[STRIKE]I assume you have to purchase £40 worth of toiletries/cosmetics to get said beauty box? Considering it's full of cosmetics/toiletries.[/STRIKE] never mind. I clicked on the link and read product description :o

Beauty, clothing and home - very wide choice!

It is pretty good - I succumbed and ordered it, but only as I would easily spend the money on qualifying products anyway! Got a pair of black lace pumps I've been looking at for a while to replace a pair that are dying, and a nuxe men moisturiser for my bf's birthday in a few weeks - 30% off mens products, so that was very helpful!

Totally agree about the clothing, and the quality of the lingerie has really gone down in the past few years (in my opinion) - but I like their flat shoes, they last reaaallllly well, and are comfy for running around. The home range is good too - I like their bedding.

I'm off to London next weekend to look at wedding dresses with a friend (for her, not me lol!) as I'm a bridesmaid, so I'll let her pick out whatever she wants from the box as treats :)
  • I may have to have a ganders at least when I'm in the city for work tomorrow! :rotfl:

I have work trousers that were bought from where I work but, quite frankly(and I know this is naughty), they are rubbish! So I think a better plan will be to get some better ones which are better quality and will last much, much longer.

If I spend £40 on trousers then I can put a mere extra tenner in and get this box ;)

2 more UUs for me and a confession re: INs again!!

    UUs:-

Bath and Body Works Pocketbac. Yay! Have two more in stash but will give them to Emma to use. I just forget to use them.

Sample of Juicy Couture Couture La La. This sample only lasted me a couple of days. Was nice. Have another sample size but don't want to use it yet as I will get fed up of it.

    OK INs:-

Emma is sitting her A Levels at the mo and is very stressed. She has also booked to go to Benicassim festival in Spain and is saving for this so I said I would treat her to some Make Up Geek eyeshadows as I would rather spend my money on them than have spend what she shouldbe saving. I know this should be her lesson to learn but I think she deserves a treat (even though I know I've recently bought the Tarte TSV!). So she ordered 5 eyeshadows from Beauty Bay and I ordered a replacement bottle of Essie top coat.

The Tarte highlighter palette arrived at work today too (her birthday gift) and it looks lovely. Did not dare try swatching them.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Well you definitely enabled me! :o

I used it as an excuse to buy some essentials for when I've lost weight, I currently have a few of the cool comfort slips but they seem to have stopped doing them above a size 22 now :( Nevertheless I bought some for when I fit into them as they are an essential part of my wardrobe these days!

I also got a few more bits of clothing I decided I 'needed':rotfl:
