AFAIK there is no 'official' time to get one.
  • Well just to confuse matters.. I had an eternity ring before I got married.. got an engagement ring after the birth of my second daughter... Then after we had been married 8 years had a new engagement & wedding ring and for my 10th anniversary had a new eternity ring... Different I know!!
  • It's my 25th next year. If I don't get one, I will sulk :)

It's our Silver in 17 days and I doubt VERY much if I'll get one even then!

Guess I'll save up & get my own! LOL!

Good thing I can laugh about it!

PS - Don't really wear jewellery, just my engagement & wedding rings, so I'm not upset - I'd rather spend it on a holiday!

  • My dad got one for my mum when i was born but i did turn up 3 days before their 1st wedding anniversary! I have been married 2 years & have a 3 year old & still no sign, but i think it's probably a better idea to clear my debt off first. I will drop hints for one the 1st wedding anniversary after we are debt free.

I can't remember exactly when I got mine but I can be sure it wasn't to celebrate the birth of a child as we don't have any that are ours. It was a long time ago so maybe an early wedding anniversary?????
