Sending Cheque or postal

Hi I want to buy this camera on ebay, i could get it for a good price but buyer only accepts cheque or postal.

Is it worth the risk, the buy has 4 good rating thats about it but Im just worried if I send a cheque for £200 I might not get anything :(

If you want a good camera for a cheap price, look at the canon shop on ebay. You get a 12mth gaurentee.

I agree with the first 2 replies. 5 good feedback isn`t enough. Ive got over 1100 and still people dont trust me. I wouldnt even list something that expensive as I figure the majority are probably cons.

It is only worth the risk if you are prepared to lose the money. There is no protection at all for non paypal payments..the only way to buy safely is via paypal backed by a credit card.

I'm not sure quite what you mean as there is no ebay protection at all, not even £100 unless you pay by paypal.

you can send a crossed postal order which means it has to be paid in to a bank account,so put thier name on it and get it crossed at the post office when you buy it.
